It's true about the lead shotgun pellets. I've been shot by a 12 gauge #6 lead winchester from about 4m away. Some one else shot me while inside a hunt camp by accident. We were moose hunting and had very high powered rifles, so I was lucky, I guess, that I only got a shotgun blast in the foot. Took about 2 hours to get to the hospital because we were so far in the bush. Anyway, that was 14 years ago. I've had over 50 pellets originally and now about 20. The pellets do work their way to the surface of the skin and can be cut out. The only thing the vet will do is prescribe antibiotics

cheers higgins I've had several. I'll send ya the bill. here's the little fella on Sunday here he is coming out of the foxhole. I had to nudge him in and then he went about 2 meters in. this rock is a huge glacial deposit. About 40,000kg. There are a few different holes going under on a couple sides of it. Right on Hastings!! Awesome story about your baby boy killing those mice. And the bitch have a rat for desert.

we were driving out in the bush and found this staggering fox trotting right down the middle of the road. As we got closer you could smell that he had just been sprayed by a skunk. He couldn't really see where he was going. I thought of letting our dog after it. He's only 14 weeks. Didn't let him after it though, pretty stinky  right on, cheers

he is coming along now isn't he poacher. looks very good good luck with him eh how's his training going? cheers

i guess i'm responding for the "dog walkers" sort of. I don't walk other people's dogs or anything. Here there is no fox or rat control problem. we're completely encircled by forest so going out for a walk or hike or bike or drive or boat or canoe really is the only way to get out. I guess we're just oportunistic about it eh? like I said no animal control problem we just do it for s**ts and giggles. good luck to the owners out there working their terriers whether necessary or not. cheers

hey celt, ya, I don't "discourage" any of his pep for snakes. He's still only 12 wks, so he wants after everything that moves. He's learned some rules and limits so far. We have 3 cats and 2 other dogs up until last week. Had to have our 10 yr old lab be euthanized. So anyways he has to behave when at home. And when we're out in the bush a few times a day and our house backs onto bush for hundreds of thousands of square kilometers of forest, I don't discourage him from acting nutty when he sees something he wants to attack. the little s**t. cheers, none the less Celt

hey hastings, he is growing very fast. he was at the vet for his 2nd shots and weighed 3kg (that's about 6.5 lbs for the yanks) he is 12 weeks today. went out in the argo again. discovered new trails, pretty cool my 9 yr old daughter caught a garter snake and I really wanted the little fella to rag on it and play with it but my two daughters wouldn't have it ( the other daughter is 6 ) they wanted to let it go unharmed cheers mad al

nice bitch all right

hey al, uh no haven't used an outboard on it. I have a 14ft aluminum boat and a evinrude 9.9hp that I can tow behind it or put the boat on the roof rack. It's a little bit trickier to go about floating and fishing from than they show in the commercials and ads. It is great though, fits like 6 people and is 8 wheel drive and it does float.
