    no mate nothing all gone but no sign of a badger in the snow but fox prints and rabbit,, iv got some fox snares being knocked up for me see how that goes

    im seeing prints that are like small dog paw prints and theres a pair side by side then 1 gose stray then meet up again but i havnt got anything that will do the job or will a 6 ply snare trap a fox if its on somthing solid thats not going budge

    With the sound of it you are not tying your snares on properly,you need to use the half hitch knot,there was a post up in this section about it. Use that knot and you will not lose a rabbit or snare. you could be getting hares as well in your snares,thats why you are loosing snares,the way you tie them might hold rabbits,just,but i don't think they will hold a hare. how would you recomend i tackle this then,, what method,, im snaring off raised fencing were i can see were there getting under,, im using fence snares. thanks

    Are the snares snapped, or missing,if the snares are still there ,do they hold bits of rabbits,?without this imformation i doubt any one canhelp you,acouple of pictures would help. hi mate,, there not snapped no there gone lol,, im getting the rabbits with a good hold but its just the odd 1 or 2 along the fence line are gone but its looking like there somthing abit bigger than a rabbit thats using the hole,, ill take so pis today if its happend againg and the size of the hole in the fence,, atb If there not snapped, and your sure about your knots, then i think someone may taking

    i have been placing snares on fences that that a well used track but i think foxes are using the same holes because my snares are going missing I'm putting them on good and proper but the odd one or two are going missing still, I'm getting the rabbits with a good neck hold,, am i snaring foxes??? any help out there for me will be great full and a learning curve as I'm only just started snaring,, atb Si

    i have the same problem mate but my dog is a bit older but shes coming on abit now try getting her on some hard rabbits or some big bunnies that bend like hell that might put her arse in gear and make her work for them, but shes still young still got plenty of learning to do yet,, atb,,, si

    i feed my dog on tripe twice every 2 weeks mixed with the dry she put the weight on but soon burns it off,, i use raw mince thats been frozen but i dont think she runs aswell as when on the tripe but its up to you,, atb,, si

    i went for a quick shine saw 1 rabbit and a fox didnt get a slip n the fox was not coming at all(to the gun ) the fog was coming so i just can home,, its still a work for the dog,, atb,,si

    i have nothing im at the bottom no ferrets, locator,boxes hutch nothing i just carnt seem to drop any any cheap lol,, good luck with your though,, keep me posted on how your getting on or offer me any tips atb,, si
