  1. hi di hi camp with ted bovis on the right Llanhiileth 2nds if I'm not mistaken jon - I'm not in that photo as I only played for the first team . Bumped into Gwynfor the other day - he hasn't changed a bit
  2. No f*****g chance.. You'll be in love with the game yourself after going to a Wales/Scotland match and the all day drinking that goes with it! Imagine the best part of 100,000 or more Wales and Scotland fans drinking together, singing each others songs and having the craic in the pubs, streets and stadiums all day and late into the night.. It's not just the ticket holding fans who join in, thousands of fans travel up and down just to enjoy the atmosphere. is it like that when they play england.......... The banter is a little bit more "intense" but it's still a good day out, m
  3. Here's two of my best, both unfortunately are no longer with us . They were bred worker to worker for 20 odd years or so and were a mixture of Whippet, Grey, Collie and Beddy with a touch of Lab from way back. They were litter brother and sister with the dog broken coated and a touch under 23" and the bitch smooth coated and a touch over 18". The bitch especially had unlimited stamina and a massive prey drive but was very hard mouthed - definately not world beaters but I had countless hours of fun mooching around the mountains with these two.............
  4. Arya looks absolutely gorgeous butt, thank f**k she's taken after Rachel . There'll be a pint behind the bar at the rugby club with your name on it......... Phil
  5. Allright John, is Rachel having a boy, girl or litter of collie crosses?
  6. What height would you expect the pup to make please mate?
  7. John, you're slipping butt - there was a red kites nest 15 mins walk from your house last year, laid two eggs, one hatched but didn't survive one of the many storms we had last summer! Also saw a peregrine take a racing pigeon above the park a couple of years ago......
  8. Snowing here in sunny Blaenau Gwent
  9. Allright Ade, yes mate he's involved in the Dragons age grade set up, to be honest hadn't thought about the sponsorship thing, I'll mention it to the Team Manager and see if anything happens . Thanks for all the other replies regarding supplements - I've just found out that one of the Dragons senior squad members is a trained pharmacist and runs his own supplement business so there should be some discounts to be had there hopefully . The Sun Valley factory shop in Hereford sounds a real goer as well as Hereford is not a million miles from me. Cheers boys & girls
  10. Cheers mate, he is eating a high carb/ protein diet and recovery shakes to supplement his diet. He's just eating so much of everything at the moment that I think i'll have to get a second job just to feed him , hence why I was hoping to source a cheap supply of poultry. As I said earlier though, I'd be happy to have him adopted , with a bit of luck the missus might go with him as well
  11. Rabbit.......yes but unfortunately we're all myxied out on my ground
  12. Hi all, bit of a long shot but I thought I'd ask..... my 16 year old son is on a weight bulking programme to compliment his rugby and is eating me out of house and home!! I wondered if anyone knows of any Poultry companies in South Wales that have a factory shop where I could get some cheap chicken/turkey breasts? The only other alternative is to have the little f****r adopted Cheers in advance Phil
  13. Halycon days Phil, great times. You always had size on your side you big shouldered brute. Heard good things about your lad, hope to see him playing for the senior Dragons side in a few years and then after that who knows. Yeah they were good times John, unfortunately the games changed for the worse , we definately had the best days butt! - by the way the shoulders came from lots of wanking...
  14. I played in the same village side as Johnnyboy for a while(obviously I was way better than him :D). then moved to a different side and played in welsh national division 2, when I finished playing I did the Team Managers role for a few seasons and then became coach of my lads junior team, He plays regional rugby at under 16's at the moment(Dragons) so I spend most of my time ferrying him between training and games! Wouldn't swap it for the world though, it's like re-living my career all over again - apart from the fact he's better than I ever was........ :D
  15. Is it just me or can anyone else remember many many years ago when August used to be warm and sunny.....
  16. The poor lad concerned is a good mate of my nephew(who wasn't there) and is also a member of the local rugby club, suffice to say the c**ts in question are dead men walking!! I also know for a fact that the local coppers had a "quiet word" with them in the cells. The two brothers who instigated the attack are known locally as having a few loose screws, this combined with the amount of drugs and alcohol they took seems to be the main cause. Personally I'd put them in a room with the victims family and let nature take its course :censored:
  17. Evening all, I'm hoping that there are a few dog genetic experts who can settle a good natured disagreement between mates. We were discussing a possible future mating between a fawn bitch of mixed breeding (greyhound, whippet, deerhound, beddy, collie, saluki mix) back to fawn dog totally unrelated but very similar breeding. Someone then stated that all of the pups would be fawn in colour - different shades of fawn maybe, but all fawn nonetheless. Is this correct, despite both dogs carrying brindle, blue and other colours in their genes? Obviously the colour doesn't make any difference to their wor
  18. Help prepare the long term unemployed for the happy world of work!
  19. well said Hannah Ladies, many many thanks for your condescending pearls of wisdom, I'll sleep a lot easier in my bed tonight knowing that there are such exceptionally well informed pillars of knowledge ready and willing to impart these little gems on simple minded folk like myself. I feel very humble to be in your presence and very grateful to that you felt me important enough to get on your smug high horse and put me right. Once again I thank you......
  20. Change vet then you mug :wankerzo4: Always some clever cnut whose very wise after the event....I have every intention of changing my vet you knob but mey main concern at this moment is getting my dog fit again. So how about you keep sarky comments to your self you arsewipe
  21. Just returned from Budgetvets (budget?? they're having a fecking laugh!!) where my lurcher was diagnosed with lungworm and have just been hit with a bill for £91.... £20 consultation fee(fair enough) £24 for metacam to deal with his cough and tender throat - (cost online £6)and £48 for Advocate spot on (cost online £15-£17). I appreciate that they're a business and need to make money but how the feck can they justify that extortionate mark up??? Is it any wonder that we all hate the rip off b*****ds
  22. The show was as full as i've ever seen it - they must have made a fortune!! There was a staggering turnout of lurchers with about 70 or so entries for the pups alone!! Does anyone know who won the lurchers and was it still light when they finished
