ok cheers, how much should I be spending on a scope?

For a begginer, hopefully using it to kill rabbits, squirrels etc. Must include scope.

I'd rather buy brand new to minimise the risk of any repairs for the first year or so, as I'm a student I won't be able to afford any. Everyone on here seems to like the Weihrauch HW 77k, which I could get second hand in my price range....what would you reccomend? how safe is it to buy second hand?

Hey, Basically I want to start shooting, I have looked at rifles on the internet and read a few reviews I've decided I fancy a BSA but do not know whether to get the Comet, Meteor Mk7, or supersport. I have around £300 to spend but would like to get some targets and pellets with that. I want to use the rifle for hunting rabbits, squirrels, birds. Which one would people reccomend for a beginner? and what type of pellets are best? cheers

Hi, my names Simon, I would like to start hunting rabbits and other small game. I have no knowledge at all about rifles or hunting itself. From what I've seen on the internet I need a .22 calibre air rifle at least to kill rabbits. My questions are, How much are rifles like this? what is good and bad? I have read mixed things on the internet about law, will I need a license or anything to star shooting? Is there anything else I should know? I am vey serious about starting, I have wanted to go hunting for some time now so any advise would be muc appreciated. Thanks guys.
