  1. when did feathered creatures (birds for any retards) fall into the category of rabbits and rats?
  2. I have 2 lurchers with chocolate and licorice zebra stripes, with a hint of milk, some commoners call this brindle
  3. Defender is a crap 4x4. It needs money threw at it to be good off road, even more money threw at it to be COMFORTABLE on road. Then there is extra maintenance and RUST
  4. Rav4 is rubbish offroad. Maverick and terrano is the same thing. Daewoo or sanyyyong musso is a great machine. Look for the 2.8tdi merc engine. With free wheeling hubs on the front. My mate has a year 2001, got it 2 years ago with mot for £1200. Parts for it are expensive unless you look for other parts that fit. I.e rear springs from a lr disco fit it. Merc engine service parts.
  5. it looks like a hairy mongrel, touch of collie probably, but mongrels can look like anything as they don't seem to follow kc breeding standards.
  6. if he has spent £700 on a 3.5 v8 rover engine, it should have high compression heads, a holley carb, electronic distributor and about 250 bhp. and a gapping arse, because a mechanic has raped him fair and square.

    Flagging

sand and cement in 8:1 mix, on top of a compacted bed of quarry dusk(not dust)
  8. check out daihatsu feroza on youtube, its the same machine. they are good offroad and not bad on tarmac
  9. I'm looking for a rough guide price for building a garage. Approx 20'x12',cement block cavity wall, tiled peak roof. 6' roller shutter, pvc door and 2x4' pvc windows. Foundations and floor is done. What is a good estimate of £££
  10. If you drive whilst under the influence of drink you deserve to lose your license. And I hope you do get caught. Had a friend killed by drink driver, he was walking to work at 7am when hit. I was knocked off my bike at 6.45am by dribk driver.
  11. There is plenty of value around for £100, and as you have already suggested that is fine for most applications, especially on a semi. Spend £400, or whatever you like, but I see no point on a 10-22! theres no point spending big money buying an expensive scope to fit on a standard 22lr semi auto with 18" barrel. hawke 3-9x40 will be going on to it if i don't get a fixed power
  12. Because if nobody talked about it then we wouldn't know the craic. Take all the free advertising you can get. Hasn't been 1 person said that your collars are poor quality or that they are not fit for purpose. If I needed a collar for any of my dogs I would be straight on to your website and order.
  13. I'm looking value, not cheap price. If I had to spend £400 to buy a leupold 6x42 then I would.
  14. Slip lead used right doesn't need a collar, its quick release and cheap. How do you wear a collar out anyway? Is it made from cardboard instead of leather. Strong stuffs gear looks well made, but seriously ott strong. Its a collar for a dog, not for a f***ing polar bear, I believe he uses seat belt material, and that stuff will stop a 30 stone man from going out his seat in a 100 mph crash.
  15. Its impossible to punish someone who is willing to kill themselves just to prove their point. Unless you force feed them pork and cider.
  16. Russia have been in Afghanistan trying to tango with Islamic mongs before. They didn't get the issue sorted
  17. Free floating a barrel is totally different. And its a good idea for any rifle, particularly if its wood stock. It can physically move the barrel, but by simply touching the barrel sometimes and not at other times, it will effect the harmonics of the barrel. For accurate shooting consistency is key
  18. I've no interest in doing any such work to my rifles. It was simply just a question.
  19. i'm just wondering if there is any point in bedding rimfires? obviously for target shooting the stock will have this done, but for everyday hunting would it actually help?
  20. someone needs to read through this thread and find the average height, colour and crosses used. then it could be said for once and for all to see. e.g 22 1/2"tts, grey and white, collie grey x beddy whippet is the average good rabbiting dog. only joking. this is a great topic, some smashing looking dogs and some great looking countryside too.
  21. http://youtu.be/TH6dTSbmTt0 if you shot a big cat, would you hand the pelt or parts in to authorities or sell to press. i'd live a new skin rug for living room
  22. i'm getting my new ruger 10/22 in jan, i've gone for a synthetic stock, stainless steel 18.5" barrel, sak mod, caldwell 9-13" bipod. only part left is scope, i normally put hawke sport hd 3-9x40 on my rimfires, but never move the magnification from 6x, so i was wondering if there is any good 6x scopes around for hawke sport money (£100 is plenty). i don't want to spend a fortune on the scope as it's going onto a pretty standard 10/22, (will have trigger lightened and bolt release mod, but nothing else) i want the weight kept down as low as possible and don't want to spend huge money.
  23. you lads are f****d, they're obviously bringing in dog licensing, and going to use the chip in the unlicensed dog to prosecute the owner
  24. send rolf harris back to oz, dirty ole b*****d has been accused again of kiddy fiddling, this time a 7 or 8 year old. foreigners are all dirty hures
