  1. Simple answer is dont buy a poxy .22 get the performance calibre .177
  2. Rip Lemmy, they dont make em like that any more.
  3. What a lovely looking rifle, and in the best calibre I would have had that in a second if I had not just bought the lgv, best of luck with the sale. it wont be on long.
  4. As near as I can find your rifle is a 1991-1992 vintage, and yes they did come with open sights at that age.
  5. If you want to truly get rubbed up so to speak, join the international falconry forum,go on as a newbie, and ask advice about buying a Harris hawk, light blue touch paper and stand WELL back.
  6. You can try to waffle your way out of it all you like, but we KNOW you have turned,it is a step towards the light brother seriously a pro sport and a HW100 in .177 it dont get much better in sub 12 air rifle terms
  7. 2k hmmm, £250 will get you a very nice CZ .22 rf 8 shot semi auto like mine 100ftlbs with subsonic ammo, and clinically accurate, but interesting air rifle Andreas, welcome and thanks for sharing.
  8. Cheers,I think a Rowan engineering trigger unit, and this will probably be the best springer I have ever owned, and I have had some really good ones.
  9. So after calling at a mates and shooting some cracking groups, with the LGV,which were as tight as his Daystate mirage can shoot, and that is a test for any air rifle,as that Daystate is probably getting up for one of the most accurate air rifles I have ever seen, I had about an hour to get to my nearest perm before it went dark and go and have a quick shot or two, I got out of the car and walked down the track,no woodies or squirrels present, so I turned left over the stile and up the side of the field heading for a small wood that I like to visit when time is limited. I caught a movement i
  10. Looks gentelmen have little to do with performance in the hunting field, they have put that plastic stock on it, to keep costs down, simple as that, if it had some exquisite walnut stock on it,the price would be closer to a grand than six hundred quid,I am not a fan of synthetic stocks, however from a practical point of view, you wont cry about catching it on a barbed wire fence etc.
  11. Take the .177 Rez, you know it makes sense
  12. The performance calibre strikes again, and shows its obvious superiority
  13. Whoa! My Hatsans, though cheap are accurate. They are appreciably cheaper than an HW95 or 99, but they are reliable, well made guns. Just not quite as good as the 95 or 99. The 900 is nowhere in the same league as the 60, but they are accurate and will drop vermin all day long. Heck the two PCP rifles I use most at the moment are my Galatians, they are accurate and cheap, so I won't mind if I fall in a ditch clutching one as much as I would was if it was the Mk 3 or BSA.... I'm sorry, I had not thought of the Hatsan guns as they do have a good feed back from people/forums who have
  14. Always good sport killing rats mate well done, if I might share a tip, smear some Nutella or similar at strategic places, they cant run off with it,and will sit licking it
  15. Rather like that, might have one next year
  16. So what is the process over there for a hunting rifle IE a .30-06 for instance, is it the same license,or is one not required?

  18. I agree mate, but sometimes its jolly good fun to see them explode 500yards away, .243 vs crow
  19. Well its certainly more likely than a 20ftlb power limit
