  1. [bANNED TEXT] dead you mean ???? If i could read the rest of your post i could maybe answer ye Oh I do apologise I committed the sin of using text language for the word what, I consider myself admonished, I always thought it was about reducing the fox population for a reason I never realised they were the sole preserve of dog men, and not to be touched by us lesser mortals with a rifle
  2. Good to meet you mate, how did you and your mate get on? Its good to be able to put a face to a name. I am just glad my dog didnt sh** at the back of your car  With the size of you an all Ended up with a few Pinks Ahh so the Pinks are there now then, bet the seeker will be pleased to hear that.

  4. If you still have it mate pm me your number I may have a buyer for that cheers.
  5. I would leave the hmr get a good serviceable .22 rf and the .222 the rimmy will do all you want on the bunnies ect and the .222 mustard on foxes ect and crows out to 300 yds , just so you know the hmr produces about 230ftlbs and the.222 around a 1000ftlbs,and is a very accurate round indeed, you do not need to spend 250 quid on a moderator for the .222 you should get a good used one for around a 100 quid, reloading will always produce a better round than factory if done properly, that said some good factory ammo like hornady ect will be accurate enough to do anything you need, cost should not m
  6. like to use the . swift myself Swift is an awesome fox tool, as is my .243 with my 60 grn hollow points @ 3670 fps,the point I was making is that a hornet which is the next rung on the ladder from hmr is so much better,35-50 grn bullet 800 ftlbs as a posed to 230ftlbs, I WILL REITERATE, the piddly little hmr is not really suitable as a fox tool, if you really must shoot them with a rimmy .22 wmr in semi auto is a better round by a long way.
  7. Well I put a smear of lithium grease inside the bush, if you remember to keep renewing it should be fine mate.
  8. YES the hmr will kill foxes at a sensible range, but please get a proper tool for the job a .22 hornet is superb out to 200 yds cheap to reload and quiet when moderated, far more up to the task, and bucks the wind so much better, no brainer really
  9. Yes very observant, however they are lagamorphs so surely the same arguments and sneid comments from the terminally ill informed should ensue
  10. AAAAh more dead lagamorphs, careful mate dont upset anyone, wait for em to crawl out of the woodwork and start on about shooting again, nice 1 mate
  11. I am currently selling a telemetry set in the falconry for sale section, so friday a chap whos name shall remain hidden phones me asks about the set says its just what hes looking for, takes all my details and says he is coming to get it 7-30 fri night, almost begs me to save it for him as hes been after one for some time and it is in his price range,so there is me sat like a compleat lemon waiting for him until 10 pm, no call, no txt nothing and I havent heard from him since??????? why the hell do these idiots waste peoples time if I say I am going to get something I go or at least have the dec

  16. I may sell my 4 year old soon dependent on how work is panning out, she is absolutly mustard day and night, will be a very reluctant sale and she will only go to someone with experience as she is not a novices bird, wont go into too much detail about her on here if anyone interested pm me your no and we can have a chat
  17. no you do not as i said if you put .22lr you can get either but if you put bolt action or semi auto then your restricted to whot you applied for. That is correct you do not have to specify before you buy,but once you have aquired said firearm then and only then do you have to inform them of the action type
  18. Would avoid a t8 if I was you mate, unless you are going to take it off and spray it liberally inside with oil every time you have fired it, or it will rot away inside and destroy the crown on your rifle,(that goes for all c/f mods) I will reiterate get a PES you cant go wrong
