  1. Benelli mate m1,m2 black eagle ect,all in left hand as is my lh m1,ultra reliable inertia system, not the cheapest but the best , buy one problem sorted
  2. Dont get anything that [rips them in half] seriously mate start with an airgun and learn a bit of quarry respect first.
  3. Hi mate as a hornet lover myself I have to say you have made a very good choice with a cz 527,I dont have any experience with v-shock but try a box and see how she groups,I have to say the best way to make the hornet shine is to reload for it,loads cheaper and much better than factory fodder,I currently load sierra 45grn soft points and I am getting sub half inch groups at 100 yds,I also got very good results with 35grn vmax but fing=d them rather expensive so its sierra for now.
  4. Watch they dont bite your eye out ya f*****g muppet................ I think he was attempting sarcasm.
  5. I think what the silly fellow is trying to ask is,can we recommend a highly frangible bullet that causes immense explosive damage on impact, well I could, but I wont, with an attitude like that I hope you dont get a .22-250, or an air rifle for that matter. What is wrong with some people if he had said something like provides an instant humane kill I would have gladly helped him, go and talk tough from the corner of your mouth in the pub lad,and tell people how you rip foxes in half, people like you do our sport no favours.
  6. Yes mate its a peice of cake, take the stock off, make sure the rifle is empty, adjust a bit then dry fire, and so on until your happy,I did the one on my vanguard and it improved things no end, they are very heavy from the factory, never going to be the best trigger in the world mate but you will definately tighten those groups up by adjusting it.
  7. If you buy one make sure its got rebounding hammers mate,I bought one for my lad to use a while back actually a baikal 16 bore, what a cracking little gun, both of us can shoot it very well in fact I had a day on the pheasants this season with it and did pretty well,I really like hammer guns,if you take care they are just a safe as any gun, in fact arguably the finest game shot of all time Lord Rippon used a pair,I happen to know where there are a couple of belting hammer guns one .410 one 12 bore both in Derbyshire, the 12 is Italian but with Sheffield steel barrels,a real cracker and I think i
  8. Dont know where you are in the country but if you fancy a Parker Hale I know where there is an absolutely mint one in derbyshire with a scope ,sling ect for 275 quid,pm me if you want any info.
  9. I t will be fine mate, you are not shooting 1000 yd competition just foxes and the odd munty,I defy anyone to tell the diference at stalking ranges between prvi brass and the holy grail Lapua, just load some careful loads and enjoy, people really do over egg the cake when talking about reloading.
  10. You will find mate that the cast on most semis is pretty straight,so shouldent present much of a problem, like Seeker I bought a left hand Benelli m1, absolutely brilliant gun,I would not change it for anything, cant recomend them enough
  11. Hello mate, are you saying you want to accompany someone on their land or to come and have a walk round on your permission and show you the ropes? let me know mate, might be able to help out.
  12. Yes of course have you heard of .218 bee,221 cheetah,.17 rem fireball,.22br,.20tac, shall I go on? I am just trying to narrow things down to the common calibres for foxing, dont think there is any need to over egg the cake by entering the realm of wildcat cartridges do you?
  13. Hi mat I have a black synthetic stock to fit it if you are interested, wont be a lot of money, 50 quid should do it, pm me with your number if you are interested.
  14. Hi mate, .22 hornet is good to 200 yds especially if you home load or use hornady 35gn vmax,.204 is the fastest commercialy loaded round, good for 350+yds as is .22-250 and .220 swift,.222 and .223 slightly less umph but still good to 250+yds,I would say the hornet would be a good starting point, and really is a cracking little fox round but to get the best from it you really need to reload it,try for a .222 mate and you can also shoot small deer species in England and roe in scotland with it.
  15. Yes I think some rounds benefit more than others,I dont crimp my .243 rounds I neck size only and I cannot see how crimping would improve them at all,I fitted a custom Boyds laminate stock at the weekend and after a re zero, it put 4 rounds virtually through the same hole @ 100 yds,but I do think crimping hornet rounds is agood idea, even though I havent done it myself yet did you bed the action into that stock or is it just a drop in job, i have a lovely bit of wood on my rifle which i have managed to put alot of marks in so was looking to change it for some thing else but am not sure if i

  17. Yes that's another thing, what's the score with the crimping... do many crimp, or does it not matter in terms of accuracy? I dont at the moment, but I think with 35gn vmax it would be a very good idea, have just loaded a batch of 45 gn sierra sp, and the neck tension seems better than the vmax, I started loading the sierra due to the price, nearly a tenner cheaper per hundred, and also superbly accurate in my CZ, I think that at some point I will invest in a Lee factory crimp die,it may not improve things but certainly wont do any harm, at some point I plan to try some subsonic cast bullet,
  18. Hi mate,H110 is a very good powder,12.3 grns under a 35 gn vmax is max load and gives around 3100 fps flattens charlie up to 200 yds,aol 1.725 inches have a look on hodgdon reloading data site all the info you will need,I personally dont use expander die, factory crimp is a good idea if you got one, anyway it is a very accurate round in my cz, dont think you will be dissapointed, have fun.
  19. Ahh now come on mate no need to resort to insults, thought we were having a debate
  20. No dont go before you enter the debate on the airgun section please.
  21. Assuming that is a question mate, the simple answer is no,they are faster, flatter, and penetrate further, and in over 30 years of shooting air rifles to centerfire,I like to think I have learned a thing or two,.177 drops more quarry stone dead than .22, in a 12 ftlbs rifle of course
