Glad you enjoyed it mate coz i know i did. Sat having a pint at the minute but it won't be long till i'm in my pit. Aye, what they miss out on in speed they make up for in stamina. Only problem being she grunts like a pig when she knows theres rabbits in, it;s like being in a sty and today she never shut up lol.

Aye I'm getting there with the longnet, been practicing in the back garden. Must be doing something right because 2 hit it and we got both. Look forward to hearing from you. ATB.

Had a look out today with john off here and me old fella and the bairn. Been planning it for a week and practicing with the longnet coz there's some canny big sets on the land. Woke up, got ready and off out buzzing. Bloody van wouldn't start AGAIN but soon gave that a push and I was on my way. Got to the permission at about 9am, and the day started well, first set and 4 out 2 in the purse nets and 2 in the longnet. Moved on to a couple of smaller sets, carried on bolting 2 or 3 out of every set. Wasn't too bad a day, only had 3 digs but guess who drew the short straw every time Took the gu

Had a look out today, up to Penrith. Myself and johnrthrfrd off here, and even managed to get the old fella off his arse. Had a blinding day, got 14 fat, healthy rabbits and each one bolted as if it had a rocket up its jacksie. Lovely to get a new bit of land where all the sets are nice and easy to net up, no clearing. What a great day, right enjoyed myself.

Glad you enjoyed yourself mate. Aye it started off a bit slow but we still did ok, and at least we know they're there for next time. Good to see some nice, big, fat, healthy rabbits. Shame our lass forgot to charge the camera I'll try and get through and have a look at that new land this week and hopefully head up there at the weekend. Let you know. ATB.

Aye i was ferreting, just put a post up on the ferreting section. Had a canny day, bag of 15 so not bad. I know what it's like to lose gear, if i ever lost anything of mine i'd appreciate someone doing the same for me not that it usually happens that way.
