Was not that long ago I was saying how great they got on.... Well they have made a lier out of me now. Yesterday two of them started tearing chunks out of one another, one light Sussex who isn't even 1yr old attacked my oldest rooster Clive who's a Minorca of some sort he's 2 this June. I was down putting wire at the corner of the run and he came over to me walking as if he wanted lifted, looked at him and saw the blood - I got the blood half stopped and put him in with the hens, he's ok now today seems fine so lucky. The young Sussex then turned on my gorgeous seabright x. He didn't get hurt

I'm on contract - usually £15 a month. All was fine until £52 was took from my bank last month. Absolute flecks they are, rang them and ended up with an Indian who spoke little English he couldn't understand me and I couldn't understand him, few choice words later I hung up I was fuming!! Rang next day another Indian or Pakistani I'm unsure, still no communication. I hit the bloody roof. Never again will I be on 02 contract ever ever ever! My 24 month ends September this year thank god!

What Birds Have You Got Nesting?

I've been watching black birds and starlings stealing my bedding and chicken feathers for nest building recently, love them the starlings are new to our place never been here before for nesting. Stunning birds, and cause they're used to me they just dander about even when I walk toward them they don't fly away. BUT I'm missing my swallows no sign of them yet, every year since I've been here they have made nests in my pig house 3 nests usually, absolutely love them, they make the nests in the rafters - also aren't very very frightened of me which is good, ables me to sit down and watch the -
I've always feared bending over in shed for something and one making its way down my arsecrackthanks for that I'll now be wearing big granny pants from today Seriously though there horrid things. Just done a quick search there - your wife was right on pressing the foot down Anyway found this hopefully link works it gives tips on preventing it and relieving it also. Sounds painful! I would get a cramp/spasm also on the left but on the inside of the thigh, god it kills - I'd say it lasts about 5minutes then eases. I've no clue what causes mine or yours but I put a hot water bottle on it if it's real bad (not on bare skin) it works sometimes but not always. Wish I could shed some light on yours as I know how bloody sore it is! Oh and if I get this similar then rest assured it's not just cause your age (hopefully)

Goodness not had a mouth ulcer in years used to get them on teenage years always thought it was from drinking, funny someone mentioned drinking beer from the can! Haven't had one since I stopped drinking, weird that! Try listerine mouthwash - if salt water/ bonjella/igloo dosnt work.
