    My two daughters along with twenty others saw a Ghost , they were all girl guides camping out by a small village in Leicestershire in the 80s , a few of the girls had gone out to the church yard around midnight to watch for ghosts , at the witching they heard noises, after a few seconds they saw two drunken figures staggering out of the mist and start performing on a flat gravestone , it turned out to be Arkela and some farm worker .

    Its nice to see an old post from when people were more interested in the topic ,, can anyone re-post the one were the drunk chaps set there Mole traps at 4 feet and invented the cast iron hoop snare it was very funny on the night , funnier still when they fell out days later and wanted to fight each other.

    We have been going there on day trips for the last thirty years , the first time that we went into the caves mr Mrs trod on some human shit it came through her flip flops and she had to take the boys water off of them to wash her hoof and then batter them all .

    Yesterday i joined a small American hunting Forum , it was abit out of my league because it dealt with snaring hogs ,Wolves Deer ,Beaver, and Coyotes and my little picture of a couple of Leicestershire Bunnys did look a little out of place, whithin three hours i had over one hundred notifications , they wanted to know every thing , permits ,seasons , fur prices , recipes ,how the snares were made,what breed was my dog and did i know King Charles, i was good fun for a couple of hours, one chap asked if I had any more pictures, .........Ain't he in for a treat.

    Just two this morning and something went under a snare , idon't know how it done it but it lifted the tape up while hardly disturbing the loop.

    Just kitchen towel its about 8x8 inches , i prefer to use peat as its hard going on this place ,the important things are Height and width but with this type of trap you can go bigger all round as its very forgiving one more thing is to set the traps at home as it is very hard to set them in the field when the ground is soft .

    [/url THATS WHAT THE TRAP LOOKS LIKE ON ITS BED , I JUST TAKE A SPIT OUT WITH MY SPADE AND PRESS THE TRAP DOWN SHEET OF PAPER ON THE PLATE , SCRAPE A BIT OF DRY SOIL OFF THE TOP OF THE TUBE , CATCH OFF JOB DONE . iLIKE TO COVER TRAPS WITH PEAT FROM MY OLD GROW BAGS BUT IT WAS TOO MUCH TO CARRY UP THIS PLACE BUT I WILL GET A BAG DROPPED OFF UP THERE FOR NEXT SEASON . DO NOT FORGET THIS THING , IT ALL LOOKS DIFFERENT THE NEXT DAY AND ENEN IF YOU ONLY SET ONE TRAP YOU CAN EASILY LOSE IT .     Had a phone call to-day from the Estate agents who rent out the shooting on both halves of this estate plus a few houses , aparrently some one on both shoots has made a complaint about me and he wants to speak to me before he takes it up with the old man , i think someone is about to be f****d off and i don't think it will be me

    My plan yesterday was to sit snares all along a hedge that is bumping with rabbits but i had only got five down when the gal from the hall came down the lane on her hoss and said something to me that made me laugh that much that i had a bad astma attack and she had to take me home . last picture is me taking the rabbits to my Mrs to take the wires off Getting old is a b*****d.
