We built a house at Kislingbury about 1965 it was only a tiny village then and across the road from the Plot were two men in a Field gassing Rabbits using an ex army petrol air compressor , one man was on the tap that fed the Cymag powder into the Air line the other was in the middle of the Warren stamping everywhere the powder blew out no mask or gloves my mate said his roll up would keep him safe .

We had a long week end in London last week and very nice it was ! we started at a Pie & Mash shop and what a load of Crap that was ! a tasteless Meat Pie covered in Snot with a lump of cold mashed taters , this was followed by a good portion of Jellied Eels which were the best i have ever had, then on to Burrough Market which was superb and i would recommend it to anyone, my Mrs bought some good Cheeses and some very spicey Pickles / chutneys then on to a Meat & Fish stall that was very pricy but the gear looked a treat Tame Rabbits were £21 each Wood Pidgeon £9 for

The Bull Ring at Brum is a great day out you can buy almost any thing and the meat and fish Market was a Cracker!, though we have not been for four years we always went twice a year just for the Train ride , Sea food , and listen to all Stall holders with their daft Brummie accent . When we went the other Week all the Fish and Meat stalls bar one had been taken over by the Indians same with the Rag Market and even the Fruit and Vedge Market had a smattering of them, nearly all the Meat stalls sold Cows Feet Goat Tripe and Sheeps Heads and the only Pork Butchers was pushed out to the ba

Dan you need to set your loops better and get a tighter hold next to the fence or it will be knocked out of the way also keep them off the ground. Do it this way ! its quick and easy . Take your time and do it neatly -
On August 8 Petrol was £ 1.58 and Diesel £1. 68 , The Garage at Hawes is run by the community and i expect that by now the price would have dropped further.
