Went again this morning and picked about 25 pound in a Ridge and Furrow Pasture and there must have been 1 CWT Knocked over, I never bothered going in the good fields as it was to wet , I was going to set a few snares but the warmth has brought the fog

Set off for Leicestershire yesterday the 4 hour journey took 7 hours then when we got to my sisters house the village was cut off by the floods but we took a chance and drove through them , this morning I set off early to pick a load of Blueys for good money but everywhere was flooded and what bit of land left was waterlogged and the Blueys had not come through, near the Railway line was a tad drier but the sheep had knocked them over the good thing was that the Rabbits are back in good numbers and the runs from the tracks were very good and a 100 yards long so I may have a go at them in the

It say that it will catch by the Head or neck insuring a quick kill each time ? i would pay 30 quid to see that .

Try a Cage trap Mate !once it has Weathered it will catch the lot in safety Then chuck them in a Box with them Moggys to wake the Bastuds up

I have followed these Pups through Moochers and on here and when I saw Dons Pictures on here I went Coat Blind and wanted one thinking they had all gone , now that I see there is one left I was tempted again but its no good as I just don't have the legs to do one justice , saying that I envy the new owners and look forward to seeing write ups on these pages of their progress and congratulate Jigsaw on a job well done .

I have never set one but I have seen plenty and I do not rate them for anything other than Gardens but I know a chap in South Lincs who sets or used to set them by the hundred , he had the cream of the land in the Little Ponton / Newton area which is South of Boston , he did not follow the advice of the Manufacturers of the cage traps who stated 10 yards out 8 yards apart he went his own way which was understandable because he had been doing it longer than the people who made the traps , he placed his traps further out because he did not like putting the traps down on fouled ground he also p

It was nice to be out this morning even though it was windy and the locator Batteries had gone missing , twelve bolted and at least two were left underground , the farmer was a nice chap and he made Gypsy Caravans ,said he had been doing them for 60 years , I was speaking about his orchard and the trees were all Perry pears and he had made it all his life but no one wanted to carry it on , my Mates Mrs came up to fetch him and stop him going Pub .
