England changed at that time with the Potato shortage because people started eating more Pasta , Rice ect.

I think it may have been 1974 when there was a real shortage ! there was a real panic then and people were going over to France and bring vanloads back and they made a few bob out of it , it was the same with Candles and Spuds .

I have fed Foxes for years one night I fed them 15 Rabbits and 1 Hare, one night they paid the price and 3 full grown Cubs got caught in Bodygrips in a twenty yard Stretch of fence , when this was a hunting Forum I used to put pictures up of Cubs that got caught up in Rabbit snares but I got fed up with all the Bleating and Howling.

I am on a FB site that is very good people actually join in and question things , there are no threads on Music , Boxing or Homo's , much like this was 15 years ago things sometimes get heated but its all good fun and plenty of the old hands who were here years ago are posting

I was having a sort out and opened a box and there was two locators and six collars , there was a single Earing aid Battery there so I took the Battery out of the Smoke Alarm and tried them out ! one after another they all started to Sing which ain't bad because the have been away for 4 years at least not bad as one of them was given me over twenty years ago and god knows how old the other one is ! really good when I look back on how much stick they have had .

Last year my Mrs had to take me to Lancaster Hospital there were a good few in reception and I sat down while my Mrs gave my details , on what my Mrs told the Triage Nurse I was out the queue and wired up in minutes ! that is what a triage nurse does.

She had Isuzu Rodeo and wrote it off in a 10MPH bump , it was a year old and there was a big Scream off of the insurance company because no Air Bags had been activated it took Months to get all the Money and longer still to get the Car Hire Costs when that motor was bumped you could barely tell but the said the Chassis were out of line and a write off, …….she would never have another Isuzu

Its for my Mrs , she had one for many years and likes them. It dos seem pricey but what else will tow an Hoss Box in comfort for £8,000 ?
