This I what the Government allowed Shops to charge for Game and Rabbits in 1940 , a Shilling would be worth £2.80. in todays money so a wild Rabbit would cost about £7 not much really because most on here are worth Millions ...Who Knew .

At present there are hundreds of Fenn traps for sale at £40 for Ten because all the Grouse Moors are getting rid of them and you can expect them to get cheaper .

She makes it in 5 gallon batches 17 lb Damsons 12 lb Sugar 2 lb Raisons Stone Damsons Freeze for a Week Put in straining bag and Mash Boil half water and dissolve Sugar pour over fruit Add 1 Campden Tablet Stir then leave 12 Hours Add the rest of the Water to bring Temp ,Down to 20 dig C. the Acid Blend ,Pectic enzyme and yeast nutrient.....stir well and leave 12 hours add red Wine yeas -

When I was young it was the Golden rule that you NEVER EVER touched the Kits until they were several Weeks old ! I do not know if it was the right thing to do but all Ferret breeders abided by that rule now days though most people who breed a litter cannot wait to take pictures , handle , and Sex the litter , well to me this cannot be right and I think that you should just let them get on with it ! after Mum knows best and you should let Her do Her thing in peace .

There are a lot on the Park Pond in the centre of Melton Mowbray when its sunny they stand on a rock with their necks stretched getting the Sun , I am told they have been put in the Lake by kids who were fed up with them after the Ninja Turtle craze from a few years back

Been out and cut some logs and fill the Basket now I shall do the Crossword , read me Book and whittle a few more Pegs ! I may clean the Chainsaw later on just for a treat .
