The post as gone now but someone came on and said there was three Rabbits in Leicestershire ... well he needs a pair of Goggles as there is more chance of seeing a Puma , Cheetah or even old Clarence the Flucking cockeyed Lion .

We are too old for all that Fccucking nonsense and would be happier calling it by it's real name MISERY and for people who crave Snow at this time of the year should have their tree pushed up their arses complete with Lights and Candles ........ preferably lit .

I am not a pessimist but i think it has gone to far now it is only the small market towns in market towns in the Midlands that are holding out against the surge, in Leicester itself their are no go areas that even in day time you would be foolish to travel through and at night time it is chaos and most people will not even drive through them , can anyone tell me why it is never in the news ? -

I do and i know a few others who do also , i would not go in the Footings or touch a concrete block but i am often in demand for setting out or building Chimneys because modern bricklayers dont do them , also i think is a lot easier than when i started in the early 60s.

Why cannot people feed their kids ! what is the problem ? my Mam brought me and my sister up through the 40s & 50s with no help from anyone and we never went without and we always had a few days at Skeggy or Yarmouth in the July Fortnight money was tight but she got by so what is so different now ? as for free School meals she would sooner have her Nails pull out than ask for that, so what is it ? have people no pride ? or can they really not afford to provide a bit of grub for their kids .?

I think you have reinvented the Wheel , a bit better perhaps and it will last a lot longer, but as GS always says KEEP IT SIMPLE.

It does work to a point but there has to be Rabbits in the surrounding area to draw from , to start with you have to identify why there are no Rabbits there in the first place because nothing will change until that has been addressed

Read a book about Chesapeapee bay the amount of Ducks they killed was unreal , they were sold by the Barrel full , if you can get hold of any books about Punt Gunning or DUCK DECOYS you will find them good reading , Duck decoying was done by slowly ushering the birds along a series of netted Pipes [drains] until the reached the killing zone .......... great reads if you can find them + there may be footage on utube .

Used to use them in Gorse , you could see where Rabbits had hopped over the lower branches by the mud on them , push um in then the 116 on top WALLOP, a good Rabbiting lad who was on here a few years ago made them for me, They made a very good set i had five Rabbits and a Fox one night in eight sets .

Not in the world i live in ...... i have three boys and they have never robbed a shop or rioted nor their friends ! they have never seen a big cat either even though they spent their days beating in the thousands of acers of woodland that surrounds us , it must be City life ?

One of the reasons I had the jabs was because our daughter, who was a staff nurse on covid wards, told us if we didnt and then caught it, we could possibly die due to our current age and health situation. Another reason was that I thought I could possibly go stark raving mad and start to see Lions, Leopards and Tigers behind every f***ing tree and bush in the f***ing kingdom!

I used to shoot a lot of Rabbits on the Wrekin and at Nescliff as well, friday nights i sold them in the Golden Ball ,,,,,,start off like that ...........JUST DO IT
