The Field is L shaped with a total length of 600 yards by 45 width with three sides walled , there are major well lit roads either side , there are no holes to be seen as the Rabbits run straight into the walls , there are no runs visible as yet and i dont want to make any until i see a little traffic . ....... over to you lot ??????

I went to a field yesterday for a look round and i saw over 20 Black Rabbits as well as the normal kind , i went back this morning with a camera to see if i could get a picture an though i saw 10 the were very skittish all i have to do now is finding a way of catching them because the job will be much harder than it looks

The Lady who has the local antique shop says it is Flemish and called a Credenza , the Carvings are of the Green Man and it probably arrived in England after WW1 also the cupboards would have been Lead lined in the past . She also gave me rough price guide ....................any one want a guess ?

Happy to be corrected but IF there is not a Flea on that Skin the Rabbit will not catch it ! touching the infected area will do nothing , as with most Viruses inhalation can spread the disease but that requires two live animals , so i have been told .

I saw a programme last night on shoplifting and apparently if you steal less £200 worth off goods they have to let you off ! well on Tuesday i was speaking to a Chap who had been up Court and had been Fined a total of£183 for catching two Rabbits with a Ferret and Nets last January , now to me this sounds a bit out of proportion to being caught Ferreting , any thoughts on why this is ????

Where ever i have been in Europe the fish and Seafood is cheaper than England, in France we ate Oysters and Seafood Platters that were a fraction of the cost here , in Germany cooked Fish seemed very cheap as all food was there, in Spain local people lived on Prawns and Mussels and even when i worked in Aberdeen the place i stayed dished massive portions up for Breakfast and dinner , so when we are out of the EU will Fish be cheaper ? Will it Fluck ! IT WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE BECAUSE WE ARE OUT OF THE EU.

I have never been keen on this type of Beer kit as i prefer Whole Grain but a couple of weeks ago i tried some and liked it so i gave it a try , its Munsters Back Ale , it costs £35 to to make40 pints at 5% this is a lot dearer than most but its a good drink and very easy to make , i like dark Beer but i stay away from the Belgian or Russian imperial types as they are far to strong in fact they are the original Lunatic Soups

A nice Death is when you die in your sleep whether it is drug induced or natural with Covid some people cannot be Ventilated and they cannot or may not be sedated , you say know people on the front line then they will have been very busy but other Nurses in departments that do not relate to Corvid EG Cancer screening ETC may have less to do because at present Covid is a priority . My Daughter has worked with patients from the very start and Death is a daily occurrence ,, she says it can be a very bad Death for some and we must try to , avoid it at all costs , she has been a Nurse for more than thirty years and knows what a bad death is so she has advised Me nd Ma to wear a mask when we are out , simple advice that may save you from an unpleasant demise.

You will have a lot of Replies from people who say they never use them , their Ferret dos not stay , i whistle and they come out , or the old favourite Feeding and bush craft , well they are all lying b*****ds , over the years there has been six people on this site who have said they will show me and prove me wrong .........Guess What not one of the lying b*****ds has ever turned up !!!!!!!! i have fore gotten about the pack of Lunatics that will tell you how their Ferret will drag the rabbit out the second it has killed it apparently they will do this feat up to 5 time a day.

Woodga sent me a stack of Rabbit Snares earlier this year and among them was thirty Trad Wires , now days my hands don't hold things as small as Wire so i cut a slot into the Hazel to allow access for the Twine which would then be gripped by the Split in the Teeler which in turn was tightly bound with Tape to prevent further splitting , i was going to cut a small Barb in the wood too grip the Twines tighter but after trialing one for a few days there was know need as the set wire stood up to the Wind and Rain of the last few days with no movement .
