on his neck ,he had been caught fair and square,he had been over and under the fence a couple of times ,so what ate him ,didnt top him.

first thing this morning while i was checking some rabbit wires, i found a fox cub in a fence wire ,it had been partly eaten from the rear, three feet away was a young rabbit in a bodygrip ,that had not been touched.i have caught a few cubs over the years ,but this is the first time ihave had one eaten. micky

bury them, them thats what i do every week, nobody wants them,even the 3 parts grown ones.nobody eats meat in leicestershire anymore only goat and that kebab shite micky ehh cant you sell them?? Or feed them to your dogs?? ferrets?? Its bad that like shame to waste them you cannot give rabbits away here even in winter,all the old rabbit eaters have died off ,and have been replaced by indians and somalis so there is no market for them, the ferrets eat a few and so do we but you can only eat so many, it is a waste , but remember mr, dixie always calls in september . micky

my youngist lad as a ALROS, take down . its 177 8 shot , hes had it for 4 years and has shot over 1500 rabbits. with a mill dot scope its spot on at 10 - 50 yards ,the only draw back with it is, its a b*****d to pump up. micky

rabbits are easy to kill, to gain a bit of confidence ,kill a dead one ,IE one thats been shot or ran over,do what ARTEMIS says and you will feel its neck break,after a couple of these you should have the abilty to tackle a live one, in my opinion.if you feel you need a priest to kill a rabbit ,you should not take up ferretting. micky

i have kept ferrets for 50 odd years, i keep em clean ,dry ,well watered , well handled and feed them rabbits ,head guts and scut,thats all they need, micky
