Got your pm on moochers might have to give it a try couldn't reply for some reason. set three ,will check about 6am ,i think theres plenty of foxs there though ,the headlands covered in that black shit ,they do when they have been eating berries,
  2. Its the hazel stick ,that holds the snare over the run ,the wire type tealer is much better.i had a long wait today and got bored,so as the saying goes ,The devil makes work for idle hands

  6. Sure that wasn't mixy???? Its the does comeing into season mate ,we dont have much snow in Leicestershire, except for a few light falls in Febuary,if you walk round at this time ,you will see lots of places with a drop of blood on the snow where the does have stopped for a tinkle.
  7. T P , this land is alongside the M 1,the foxs have a nice safe walk into the cityalong the embankments,if the weather is dry they can go under the motorway through the culverts, also ,theres a big poultry place nearby and that draws them in,this time of the year theres allways lots of dead pidgeons in the fields ,so thats another easy feed for them. set up a few fox wires mickey, my friend martin, who lives in england set up 40 fox wires , snared 9 foxes in 4 days, then snared 400 rabbits , in five days . with no fox damage whatsoever. Nice to see you back on mate
  8. The subject of releasing 'vermin' keeps coming up. There is no specific law preventing the release of pest species except 'alien' species (Grey Squirrels, Mink etc). While it is obvious to most of us that it is irresponsible and immoral to release pests (and also unlikely to be effective), there is no specific law to stop it. I pick the odd cub up in rabbit snares and usually let them go ,the places i go in Leicestershire have hunting connections, and foxs are not considered,or called vermin,in fact the only things called vermin around Melton Mowbray, are ,rats, mice ,and people who
  9. I went out yesterday and set ten snares ,on this mornings pick up i had seven rabbits, five were o.k. two were damaged, one by a fox ,the other by ,who knows what ,one of the back legs was stripped of meat ,but there was no other damage to the carcass, also there was no punture wounds anywhere on the body ,there are no badgers in the area ,my thoughts are some sort of bird,as the fur had been plucked from the leg ,but the eyes were still in,and as i said before ,there are no punture wounds.
  10. A few years back ,i rebuilt a chimney for a old lady ,when it was all finised ,the gutters cleaned out, ,and the scaffold down ,and taken away, she complained about the work ,and refused to pay, after a weeks argueing, iwent round ,i took the old bricks out of the skip and stacked them in her garden ,then went up on the roof and slung the new chimney into the skip, pots as well ,she took ME to court ,and i had to pay £675, which included £40 for a telly areail which wasnt there in the first place. ALLWAYS GET STAGE PAYMENTS, AND IF YOU CAN ,TAKE PICTURES.
