I have Ferreted in and around Badger sets for years as i had no choice living in Leicestershire where Badgers have completely taken over . One place in mind untill the last was alive with Rabbits which lived in a series off massive warrens around a hill and between the Wars it was ran as a Meat and Fur production area ran by two part time trappers who both had farms in the locality, Mixxy came in54/55 and the Rabbit market ended and the Farmers went on to Cattle and Sheep also the badgers started to move in and i joined them around 64/65 and as a rule we got on together but by the

They were filming at the stables near where i live and a very young Ferret walked on to the set and as i am down for the Rabbiting it was brought to me , it is a very young Jill Razor thin ,covered in Ticks and i did not think it would last the night but unfortunately it did , at first i treated the Ticks with Fairey Liquid then fed Her on High Protein food and after a Week she looked like it would live .. then the problems started ! it is impossible to pick up because it retreats to a corner hissing at you and it will not stop fighting with the two hobs that are in the cage even though

I am on a Bricklaying forum and there are 100s of jobs going for Hod carriers , the money offered is usually £160+ a day and there are no takers as people want them to work 5 days a Week and they say it will give you a chance to learn the Game but nobody wants it ??????

The Squirrel was very lively and i am sure it could have been released unharmed but it had been in the trap less than an hour i have caught around 30 rats in the 55s and the springs about ten times i am told this is not uncommon

I had a Squirrel in a 55 Bodygrip and it failed to kill it , i have caught numerous Rabbits , Rats and squirrels in the 110 116 with no problems but since i have been using the 55 it has happened several times if you look at the pictures you can see the problem but not the cause , my only thought is the spring clips that hold the trap are somehow out of sinc other than that it is a design fault that should have been apparent in the initial testing . They love Gherkins

I cut them through the Spinal Cord and stab them in the Nut because i like to do things like that ! then my Mrs twists the middle Tail Feather Left then Right {you will hear a Click each time } then slowly pull the Fin and the Bile Duct will slide out ,then place in Cold Water bring to the Boil then Boil for three Minuets after this time place in ice cold Water to stop them cooking. Then you twist the Tale off and peel the like a Prawn ,on the larger ones it is worth cracking the large Claws as you will extract a Teaspoon of Meat from each one. We do it this way because then there is
