Hi daidogs i took a pup to the states january this year, you need the dog to have a health certificate cost me £35 i had it done two days before the flight but i think it can be done ten days before the flight, and show this when you check the dog in. The pup was up todate with his jabs to. For him to fly i made a resivation with the airlines, it cost £100 for him to fly with american airlines. He was in a plastic dog create that needs to be big enough for the dog to stand up and turn around and sit/lay down, i put a blanket in and attached a water bowl to the door, just before i checked the
  6. he's in bandage at the moment that toe he smashed i took him to a greyhound vet and he recommened it to come off as there was damage to the joint and the bone that was shattered would take a good while to heal and could very possibly break again and later problems being stiff and arthritic, so i had it taken off so another two weeks in wrap then i'll take it from there. . . . That bitch looks good mate would like to see her go may be a days ferreting
  7. This is her brother a photo taken a while back :
  8. I took the dog to see a greyhound vet and he said from the Xrays i showed him the bone was in 4 plus pieces, Metacarpophal joint looks ok but more xrays to assess p1/p2 joint. The advice he gave me was if the joint is damaged best option was it get it amputated high up, if not could strap up and not allow the dog to run or jump for eight months. But if amputated he could be running ok in 4-6 weeks. From people with experiance with dogs that have had this sort of break my question would be is that i dont want to give the dog time to rest and hope for the break to come good and wait fo

  20. But will terriers survive ? Who knows in this country? hopefully they will be worked and tested in the likes of europe and the states where they don't seem to have any pressures like on the shorse of the U.K. if it was to ever come to it. But for the generations to come i hope the terrier is kept as a worker and workered here in the U.K.
