  1. Well lads though i'd put up post of what we got up to today, i went and met royston2 and kane "now know as howard on here" with the intent of finding some foxes on a local shoot that needed controlling. Well we checked a few woods and the earths had no one at home, so we decided to check a round bail stack as the farmers lad said he had seen a fox mooching around there the other day. We entered my red terrier with the locator collar on which i was a bit dubious about as i know that terriers can get snagged up and get caught by the collar and the result ant good but there was a good chance of b
  2. When i was over in the states this season staying with Kye off here he had his running dogs real fit we'd trot the dogs behind his truck. One night we roaded them for 22 miles, his staghound had their toughs out after but nothing major atall but his saluki just jumped back into the truck after with her tounge still in her head still wanting more. After roading them 22 miles on the drive home we spotted some racoons on his permision so we droped the dogs and they ran a very nice sized field to get them by the time we got there the dogs had the coon dead and still their fitness showed. I love

  13. Well second week of the trip we went over to Colorado to meet up with two hunting lads that kye and F.R. know to go up to Wyoming on a coursing trip, on the way to Colorado the lads who we were meeting up with rang us and let us know that a snow storm was heading into Wyoming with about 6ft of snow that was going to fall! But we weren't happily going to turn home as we had been on the road for 3 hours and the car was packed out with hunting gear and we were all excited about this coursing trip. We carried on into Kansas on the bleak long roads mile after mile and nothing was changing in the co
  14. The one to ground was just trying to dig away when we broke through with the terrier locked to the arse end, even when we let the brindle stag bitch pull it out all he wanted to do was dig away he did give a bit to the terrier but nothing much. I don't know why maybe he felt safe in the hole as he'd probly had no bother in the past down there ?. The one the stag bitchs grabed on top was more firey maybe he'd bumped into a few farm dogs and knew the score, but the stags i'd thought would have done a better job single handed as with the two they were pulling it about with the sharpe end being ab
