    Here you go. This is Kessa, she's a Collie/Grey X Whippet/Grey, 24tts, 2 1/2 years old. Got her on Sunday just gone. A friend of a friend, unbeknown to us, placed an advert on our local rescue website. We rang the number and he brought her round. He's going through a break up and hasn't even got a place to live himself yet, let alone his other 2 Springers. He hasn't got the time at the moment to look after her as well as the other 2 dogs. So we've had her. He was well choked when he left her, but we'll look after her.

     

     

    a nice looking bitch that, and i'm touched by the story behind her,, its horrible when these sorts of things in life happen i lost a good dog in similar way, i had to rehome it to a friend and after six months it would have been unfair to the dog to take it back so she's stayed where she is,, but at least this one got a good home and you sound genuine, i hope she settles in well and works well for you come season

    unusual to see a docked tail on a lurcher

    all the very best with her lurcher lass xx

     

     

    i dont think it is docked because if you look in the second pic you can see in under her toung on the grass, she must just have it to one side in the pic :thumbs:

    another time when me and a friend were lamping next to a tall fence . . .turnt out was a wolf inclosure :icon_eek:

     

     

    how did the dogs react to the smell of a wolf?

    going mad jerking and pulling we thought it was park deer that they could smell. it wernt until we went there during the day ferreting that we saw the sighn :thumbs:

     

     

    thats why you should always check the land in day time frirst, easier to see during the day :tongue2:

    nice dog. what breedings in him looks very similer 2 my pup.

    not sure mate all i know is he ia a full whippet, dont no about the lines hes from or anything....where you get urs mate?, could be a litter brother or sister....any pics?

    i got it up the north mate were did you get yours?. yeah i do cnt get them up on this :wallbash:

    got mine i wexford mate....no bother mate [bANNED TEXT] ever you figure it out put them up :thumbs: id love to see him!!!

    Thought that my bitch had proved herself in many ways and on lots of occasions to be worth breeding from. To be honest i bred them for my own purpose, hence the sire 3/4 Whip 1/4 Greyhound ;) Slighty larger than your average whip

     

     

    if she has proven her self its worth a go...best of luck with them anyway mate :thumbs:

    Fingers crossed she'll be my freezer filler mate, the other one may be a tad to big & heavy ;)

     

     

    nice one mate :victory: any reason you didnt go for a full whip for pot fillin??the staff and whippet do make a lovely cross :yes: keep me updated on them mate, i am really intrested in these pups...crackers!!!

    Nice dog mate ;)

    Here's 1 of mine i'll be running back end of this year, 1st X Bull whippet. Posted the pic as they're quite similar i think :hmm::D

    lovely looking animal you have there mate :thumbs: yeah same colouring...really like that pup mate, its a credit to u...what game will you be mostly be using him for???
