The worst experience I had was with a small group who had turned up and were staying in a camper can and all their rubbish was just being chucked out the door. They then waited until near full light before taking position and setting up either side of me. I have seen running to try and get under geese and driving them away from others who are sitting patiently but I could not say if they are locals or have traveled there.
That said I have met some real gents too.
i bought some as i am sick of not getting a clean kill with steel. i was told that a quarter was good as it patterned tight.
my gun has this,so tell me. can i put say remi steel through full choke? or hevi through full choke?
I thought that the fleur de lys was to do with the barrel and damage that could be caused by steel being harder. the same logic with tight chokes with steel and the fact that steel is not soft enough to "squeeze" through the choke.
What shot are people using on ducks and geese? Make, shot size, load weight, cart size? foreshore or decoyed?
Another quick question what lead are people putting on geese at 40-50yds?
