  2. Na its differnt from that one it is roundish? must be mk3m does this need batteries and does it just unscrew? it was working fine but its not picking the collar upanymore? any ideas?
  3. Hello there I bought a MK3 locator and collar off someone and neva used it before,got no instuctions with it! does the collar need batteries changingand if so how do u open the collar? cheers jamie
  4. I went out last weekend! Ended up with 5 rabbits and few young rabbits, think its still to early yet. So think going wait another couple weeks if i can keep temption at bay lol

  6. Its like a twine with a what i would describe as a plastic coating on it! On a 250g spool! Its not normal nylon but I aint seen this spun poly stuff!

  9. Went out ferreting this morning for few hours! Caught four and missed one, Ferreting on my own bit hard work! Using my young jill for the first time, sniffed around the entrance then off it went, think its going be good we worker! Only ferret, Iv got at minute so restricted to what I can do. Still waiting on my polecats getting bit older! Also still there is still very young bunnies at minute, caught one this morning. Packed up straight away and come home, Wait another a month or so till I go again.

  12. Mate best hats you can buy but little bit expensive are gortex like caps withears on them too that fold away! go into any hiking shop and you get one. bergaus and lowe alpine and think north face make them! they cost bout £15- 20 depending on make! they are the dogs bollocks!
  13. Iv found alot of mesh laying around in work! I make purse nets and the board is 2 inches. I measured the net i found today and it would make the board size 2 and 3/4 inches! was wondering if I can use this for long net? any help be appriecated! cheersj

  17. mixi rabbits are blind with big scabs on there eyes they cant see out off! once ya see one you know what they are. my labrador got one other day!
  18. I went ferreting for few years without using a locator, Neva lost a ferret. its just pain in arse when they catch and lay up,be prepared to wait. Thats your good days hunting ruined.
  19. just man up! I got a young albino jill last week was biting for first few days. handle it for few days, when it bites keep hold of it,dont drop it back in cage everytime it bites you! Its stop nippin now and is sound!
  20. Myxi rabbits don't pose a risk to anything else other than rabbits, no other animal can catch it. Joe Yeah i know maxi rabbits dont pose risk just dont fancy feeding them to ferrets. they always look stinking.
  21. Lads and lasses whats the score with the vasectmised hob in with jills I had ferrets for years and my dad and older generations had them too! they neva had no probs! And 10 years ago I cant think of anyone who ever had a vasectonised hob! and all the jills were fine then. Will the jills generaly die after year or two if not bred?
