  8. went for another look round the allotments with eli this morn. we walked around the sheds but but didnt see owt, then on our way back past the turkey shed, had a quick look around and saw that the 2 concrete flags that are used as a step had been under mined even more than on last visit. i decided to stay for a while and have a quiet watch. after about 5 or 10 mins i noticed a little brown head popping out of 1 of the holes, then another and a third. after a while they ventured out and came to the feeder and went about their buisness quite happily, but never ventured outside the harris fencing

  15. yesterday i went up to the allotments to check the cage traps. had 2 small greys in 1, after despatching and rebaiting we had a walk around. i have seen a few rats running along the hedge bottom and down a hole under a turkey shed, yesterday was no exeption, but they were always 1 step ahead of us. we saw a few but couldnt get on terms with any of them. went back this morning to check the traps, but before i did this i blocked the hole under the turkey shed. we checked the traps and had a wander around. on our way back i saw a biggie sat at the corner of the turkey shed looking directly a
  16. ha ha . your in so much trouble if she reads this.
  17. evey credit. but deep down i think you love the plummers
  18. must have been a bit worrying that. never had anything to do with birds of prey. but 2 and a half pounds of bird hitting at 25 mph must be like getting hit with a lump hammer. and they must have some grip with them talons. can imagine it was a bit of a task trying to seperate those 2 without doing any more damage. has the dog shown any sing of bearing a grudge yet.
