  1. Davy63 what did the think about the noise of them pal? Loud or quiet??
  2. You hear wrong then my friend. It's got a very very efficient vented shroud that makes it very quiet indeed
  3. 2 hours of paddling about through pig slurry and eventually got off the mark. I finished with 2 rats. Plus I got a phone call while I was there about some stables that need looking at. Apparently over run, but we've all heard that before
  4. Well I picked it up this morning and to say I'm happy is an understatement. I'm off to the pig farm in a bit to try and get it off the mark. I've hit the farm hard in the last few weeks and I've sort of been keeping on top of the rats. But fingers crossed, I'll nobbled 1 or 2.
  5. I will have a go mate. Can't seem to do it off my phone. Will try to sort photo bucket on my ipad
  6. Picking up my kalibrgun colibri tomorrow morning. Can't wait
  7. So what's the page called on face cloth that they have set up. I'm gonna have a little look.
  8. Well I noticed topics seemed to become scarcer when zini left. It was a better forum back then. Fact. I'm not sure what the issue was with si but it Deffo made a difference when he left.
  9. Wanted bipod. 6-9 inch. Preston lancs.
  10. The best I've found are the fleece thinsulate mittens that fold back to reveal fingerless gloves. I suffer from white finger too and these are by far the best. Just make sure u put them on while your hands are warm. Don't wait till your hands are cold or you might as well forget it.
  11. I need to get it on the bench next and see what sort of groups I can get with it.
  12. Well I've been on a few ratting trips now with the cricket and can safely say I'm Im pressed. Had quite a few rats all be it at close ranges, also managed a couple of surprise squirrels. The more I get used to the bullpup, the more I seem to like it. I've just fired off a few mags using some leaves as targets about 50 yards away. I was just sat on a fold up chair using my knee as a rest, not bench rested and was very surprised at how easy it was to shoot in this position. I'm starting to see what all the hype is about. They are like marmite. You either love em, or you hate em.
  13. Bgd it was just over 12 months ago. The police was on the other people's side. It was horrendous. We had to watch our daughter break her heart when she watched it on the cctv. It was in our own garden.
  14. I can shed some light on this because it happened to us last year. My family and I used to live in a house in a pretty rough place. We bought our property and tried to make the best of it. Then we got a new neighbour that can only be described as an ugly looking young Slag. Anyhow she moved in and straight away the parties started. Long story short 1 of our cats went missing, a day we hadn't seen him. For a few days, so we went back over the xctv footage, next doors pit bull and her boyfriends pit bull could be seen jumping over our gate and cornering our cat before using it for a tug of war.
  15. Cheers pal. All sorted now. New gauge and whip on and rifle filled. Happy days.
  16. Very impressed with them up to now, I must say
  17. Has anybody had any issues in getting a carbon fibre divers cylinder filled?? Just asking as I'm buying a 12 ltr one tomorrow and I don't want to come unstuck when.I go to fill it. It's in test until 2019. Will all dive shops and airgun shops fill it? With it being carbon fibre?
  18. Well after getting the cricket christened last night,I decided to do a bit of a pellet test after work today. I tried superfields, h & n ftts. Hw magnums and h & n hunter extreme. Only tried them out to 25 yards. But I found that the cricket is decidedly unfussy when it comes to pellets. I was particularly impressed with the single hole groups with the hunter extreme, I'm not a big fan on gimmicky pellets, although I have tried them in the 100, I didnt like them as much as this does. I will be trying them all out again at longer distances and I will post my findings accordingly
  19. Think it looks really impressive. I think it makes a massive difference. A lot of people say the 100 is an ugly rifle, but this bit of extra details tells me different
  20. Not done any distance work with it yet, it takes a bit of getting used to cocKing it. I automatically go to where the cocking lever is on the hw 100. They havery a very nice smooth trigger and all the signs are very good. They are just slightly different to use. But I absolutely love mine already
  21. Changed scope after work, and zeroed up in the back garden. Got to the permission at 8.45. Got set up and walked into the yard at the pig farm. First thing I noticed was how much easier it is to carry around than the kt when all the nv kit is on. After a couple of mins a rat appeared from under a pallet. In my bid to put the first 1 in the bag I missed. Anyway the next rat wasn't so lucky. A nice easy 20 yarder. The next was sat behind a piece of corrugated pipe. Another head shot and another 1 in the bag. It didn't even move it just slumped. I had another 5 then called it a night. 1 criti
  22. Lads got big spuds mate. Every credit to him,and you for raising him.
