  1. Looks like it's only leaking when the cylinder is on the rifle. I took it off about 2 hours ago, filled it and the gauge hasn't moved yet. I also put balloons on each end to see if they inflated but they havnt. Will screw it back on now, make sure it's tight, then see how it is in the morning.
  2. Filled up my new ks this morning 200 bar. Just checked it now, and it's down to 150 bar. Any ideas what it could be? I've unscrewed the air cylinder and put a balloon on either end to see if it's leaking from the cylinder. If the balloons are inflated in the morning then I know it's one end of the cylinder. If not it must be the seal where it screws into the gun. Is this a common problem on the new ones? Cheers guys.
  3. i love it smokey. cant wait to get out again.
  4. I got one last year year that had black feet mawders.
  5. looks a lot like the dog that took a bit of a shine to me. i drove the wagon into a yard to get repaired 1 day. the fitter that owned the yard had the dog chained to the front of a kennel on a long chain that stopped just short of the massive garage that he did his repairs in. the owner said the dog was friendly, and only barked because he was on the chain. this thing seemed a bit mental, so i decided to keep my distance, but try and make friends with half a butty. i threw the butty to the dog, and things seemed to be ok.at some point or other someone must of let the dog off the chain, while i
  6. well i didnt think i was going to get out at all this afternoon, then the clouds thinned and the rain eased a little, so i threw my gear in the car, and made the 30 min drive to my permission. on arrival i got myself sorted out, and slowley walked round the building towards the back lawn and woods. as i rounded the building i saw 2 rabbits on the far edge of the lawn feeding. thing is they also saw me, and hopped a few meters further away. i got a little closer, then kneeled down, and pulled the legs of the bi-pod out. a quick check with the lrf told me it was bang on 30yrds, dead on zero. a
  7. went out with the new 100 last night with a mate on one of his golf course permissions, we had a mooch about for around an hour then spotted a rabbit. i crouched down as i moved to the top of a bank to take the shot, then missed. we then heard a lot of shouting, and 2 people moving around on top of the fairway, along with 2 terriers and a lurcher that where all doing exactly as they liked, regardless of the owners shouting. then the rain came on, and we got a good soaking on the way back to the car. so nothing really to report. but if this rain stops, i will be of out this afty, to try and ba

  12. i have in the past pal. done loads of summer piking. top water lures are mental at this time of year. just before it goes dark, and the water is flat calm, no action for an hour or 2, no one about, just about dark now, just finishing your retrieve, then a nice 10 lb pike rips 2 foot clear of the water with your lure in its mouth. i will 100% gaurentee, that you wil sh@t yourself pal. but you will be well and truely hooked.(excuse the pun)
  13. once saw my next dooe neighbour catch a massive tench when i was about 10, on a cheese and onion ringo crisp. lol he put the hook through the hole, then looped the hook over the line and flicked it out. after a few mins the float burried and the fish was hooked. i myself once caught a pike on a lure and as i was bringing it in, it was coming in side ways, so thought i had foul hooked it. i was using a small jerk bait, but had a spinner trace on. the fish must have attacked the lure just as i jerked it. the trace had wrapped around the fish, and then over the point of one of the hooks, effec
