  1. collie/whippet/grey this will be her 2nd season, really looking forward to it
  2. Yes ! it's a shame cat owners haven't, when they let their cats out to cause havoc , shitting all over my garden, harassing my chickens, climbing allover my aviary, killing songbirds the second they leave the nest. If I let my dog do that there would be hell to pay ! I'll respect them, when they respect me !
  3. god i love that first pic!!!!! looks in seriously good shape
  4. have the same problem at the moment, my neighbours have 3 cats which all take turns sh****ng in my garden! My dogs chase them out 10 times a day, i've shot at them with a catapolt and chucked more water over them than i can remember but still they keep coming back! Tried looking on the net for ways to get rid of them and legally there is nothing you can do ( apparently cats have the right to roam! what a piss take ) but there was a few clever idea's. One bloke catches them in live traps and then drops them off to animal rescue's as lost cats!!!! funny thing was..... he was a long distance lor

  10. Spent a few hours ferreting this morning on some new permission, had a slow start but really got going as the morning went on. I netted one side with my lurcher mopping up what was missed. And had a gun on the other side ( too much cover to net comfortably ) lurcher = whippet x collie x grey 18 months cocker = 2 years old springer = 15 years old!!!!!! she has to come along or she howls the house down! ha ha ha

  14. Great looking team, Do You shoot with the Cocker as well? Well it looks like we have it down to either a Beddy or a Cocker. Father in-law is very involved in various shoots threw out the south so would also like to double up the dog for a beat of beating and possible retrieving work so looks more like a cocker. Can anyone recommend any breeders of either of My favored breeds. Thanks Thorny I do shoot over her aswell, but not as often as i would like. She's mostly used to flush for the lurcher. She works extremley hard and has bags of stamina. Although her retrieving isn't what i wo

  19. thanks for all the great replies! the cocker is starting to yap a bit when she's flushing game but i don't mind, my old springer bitch used to do the same. they're really starting to gel a bit now, with the lurcher really paying attention when the cockers working

  21. here's some up to date pics of my little pack! The cocker bitch is 14 months old and is a fast becoming a cracking bushing dog, tackles all cover. Lurcher bitch is now 10 months old. she's 1/2 grey 1/4 whip 1/4 collie. she's 24 at the shoulder and has so far taken 5 rabbits, trying not to rush her but boy is it hard! can't wait for the season to start to see how they go!
