well your wrong. they are TERRIERS at the end of the day. they work cover, hunt up well, good marking earths, love chasing stuff infact the only thing they cant do that a patterdale can is get to ground cause of there size. bull terriers have as much place in the field than any other dog why do you think there are so many crossed with greyhounds, whippets and other terriers?? a good bull terrier would be a liability out in the field,a fired up bull would result in maimed lurchers and terriers, dont think bushing is whats called work for a bull terrier mate, now a bull lurcher can do anything a

Yes mate. N.S. did his 'apprenticeship' with G.W. as a young man 40 odd years ago. When Wardy packed up N.S. carried on with his line. I've kept, bred, worked and shown this line and got no complaints. Some can be a little slower to start than others but if the truth be told that is the case of any 'line' you are truly an expert lakeman, why your not in the fell terrier book il never no,youve never worked a dog have you?you are a pure show merchant and not a good one, keep your bullshit to yourself cos you might bump into me during the summer, atb

you can tell the novices by the pics of dead foxes shown with a wink,i think once youve had your first one its a buzz but no mean feat for 2 and 3 dogs id be embarased to show people that i had yellow dogs, most lurchers will take fox or should do they are 10lbs to 15 lb so why buzz about it,when a small terrier can kill them, always only run one dog on stuff,if it cant do it on its own its time to go to the kennel in the sky, just my opinion,i took photos of kills when i was child then grew up,its like saying come and arrest me im a baiter

id say just as hard as any bullx, only had one wheatonxgreyhound first x and he was a loony would do anything only problem also would destroy dogs given half a chance, also have bullxs and would say they were equaly as hard, but wheatonxs are more fiesty, plus alot of bullxs now are off lookaliky bulls not the stuff they were 20 years back, when good import blood was easyer to obtain, atb

it seems that now its banned everyone wants to hunt,in 30years of hunting with lurchers never known so many getting into it or so many dogs and puppys for sale,is it the internet thats made it popular, when pit bulls came over they were kept by dogmen then the ban and every tracksuit cladd chav had to have one!!!!now the bullx is the latest penus extention lol -
YOU FXXKIN MAD a whippet can easily catch a rabbit at 5 months. i trained one up the season before this one for a bloke im a true beleiver in starting them young none of this blowing there lungs or hearts crap as long as it ran doubled up with an experienced dog its fine they arnt doing as much then and as they get more able they join in more and they see that most rabbits are caught this gives them confidence and drive. then when there 12 months you can let them run single. the blokes whippet caught her first at 4 months and at 5 months she had 4 or 5 then at 12 months have about 8-10 now sh
