    Hi lads & lassies, was thinking of getting a GWP pup, i know nothing of the breed and was wondering do any of you have one? any advise would be greatly appreciated, regarding training, temperement etc, thanks in advance, Reynardhunter

    I let my lurcher bitch out for a run in the garden earlier, she immediatly went to a small tree thats engulfed in ivy just 3 yards from her pen, the tree grows against a four foot wall which is the boundry of the garden, she was on something and kept jumping back and forth over the wall and and looking into the ivy on both sides, i was also looking around but could see nothing, i thought maybe a pheasant had been there and had gone over the wall earlier, she got up onto the wall and tried to get into the thick of the ivy, only her back legs could be seen at this stage and i had a stick rea

    I know that feeling hope your mates dog gets to run again, and if you have to retire your bitch then so be it, as you said she,s done her job well for years, good luck mate
