It pisses me off when people say hares shouldnt be. Rann on the lamp. I catch what I catch for either people or the dogs to eat simple as that really so wether its rabbit hare or out else eddible then it. Will be ran im in it for the sport and the food. Not the glorification some coursing people seek by only doing day time hares. Its as simple as this lads. Its your dog do what you want with it catch what you want with it. Just got in from a very rainy night was hard work. Came back with one rabbit and dog had a nip at his first red coat coming on nicely for a beddy/whippet

Well said mate but dont lforget there will aways be somebody testing there dogs the way there were meant to be tested, weather it be in the box or in the field, there are game bred staffs still around you just need to know who to talk to

Why must it be line bred stuff? Justn to keep the traits in the line, why does every lurcher have to be line bred?? Would you ride your cousin just to keep the family line going??? Not every one agrees with line breeding, so you might struggle

Nothing wrong with a good little beddie whippet mate,, i dare say some of the older blood beddy stuff was game as hell,, so if they threw the wright way in a whippet or grey mating then i dare say they would tackel a red coat with pleasure, its just finding proper game working stock today that throws a spanner in the works. My beddy whippet is 22tts I know a lad with a beddy grey bitch same size will pull roe with ease yet on here I get shit sayin mine cud never do it. I think he could same with fox.
