Question about joining a syndicate
Nik_B replied to Nik_B's topic in Driven, Walked Up, Rough Shooting
300 acres of land, woodland, hedges, and crops in season and ponds for the ducks, also rear some small number of phesant. This all sounds like a group of enthusiasts to me. Work days are optional but sound fun to me as I'll learn alot. They shoot on SOME 'set' days during the game season and alternate beating and shooting. Recon you might be right, maybe got some let days in the season, but they did say they only rear and release a small number of birds. All year round shooting and wildfowl +game when in season. Was advertised as rough shooting. -
Question about joining a syndicate

Hi mate can I PM you what they advertise to get your opinion? Sounds pretty decent to me but hey what do I know? -
Hi Hannah Have you met many Saudi men? Why should we grovel with respect to their culture when those buggers cannot get over the causeway fast enough to empty their 'you know whats' into the nearest prostitute. I'm afraid they aren't like that...I know they like to put on the pius (spelling?)act and all. WRT Dubai they encourage people to go there for either the shopping or the party atmostphere, people dont quite understand that beneath that western appeal lies a nasty little dictatorship. That is why this happens. Granted it would be nice if our own country men/women could visit othe

PROBLEM! The ones going back are doing so because they're the working immigrants i.e Polls etc. Certain large groups with 5 or 6 kids and bleeding the benefit systems dry are most certainly NOT heading back to the motherland in [insert random third world muslim dump]. If only!

After joining BASC I applied to join a shooting syndicate. They have shooting in Wales, which comprises 'a bit of everything' game, duck and vermin shooting during the week. Organised maintenance and feeding etc plus beating as well. It was exactly what I want out of rough shooting, a group of people to learn from and alot of variety but not necessarily massive bags to take home. If you read my other posts you'll see that I can have a huge amount of time on my hands when I am home from work and am constantly driven crazy by my family, so I am after something that I can get my teeth stuck into.

pmsl the missus has finally allowed you to get a pup! get some balls mate I work overseas for 50% of the year so she does have to agree to look after it when I am not there, she is a full time teacher and has our two kids to look after so its a fair bit extra for her. I dont ask permission to do anything if I want something I shall do it, but if she wasn't on board or I forced her into it she might just let it turn in to a lardy waste of space which is not what I want it for. You could have read my previous posts of course...or you might be joking

Well he's there some where just we don't know which one he is he he  Been badgering the wife to ask em for a couple more pics

I did the same actually saddly for the big three I came to the conclusion that the while BNP are far from perfect I agree with many of their stances. Oh god if forgot to enter the obligatory statement 'I'm not racist'. When the big three finally get their heads out of their asses and start listening to what the majority want and not the minority we may finally have democracy....until then we certainly do not. People seem to thing we are free just because everyone can have a telly, fags and drink themselves silly at the weekend. Up to now the politicians and a huge percentage of the bra

Sent to us by breeder...no idea which is ours but guess they all look similar.

Explains alot! Must be nice to have a cushy job that you would have to try REALLY hard to lose and oh...don't forget final salary pension! Wouldn't want to bite the hand that feeds you

Anti-Globalist and supporter of Federal Europe is a contradiction in terms.

I have some pics that the breeder sent us, I'll put them up if I figure out how to. We're not sure which one it will be for sure but they pretty much look the same anyway. They look amazing and last night I was like a 6 year old the night before Xmas. I desperately want to go home but I'm stuck here till the 17th . My wife suggested casper and Kia or something... I prefer good normal manly names. Bob, Bill, Dave....ok not Dave. Actually I am struggling but I want to name him! Childish I know but there you have it

Question is...are the 2000 range rovers any good? Anyone else got any opinions?
-
Yeh cheers louis...was trying to figure out why the discoveries were the same price as the range...i thought the range would be more expensive or are they not really that good? I agree in Defenders for sure they are the bomb proof one of the family but without sounding like a total gay I do like a bit of comfort. p.s 6 grand is right out there pushing the limit so I'd rather get something cheaper. Was also looking at a Jeep but keep getting sucked back to the fancy seats of the range.

Need a car for fishing, shooting, dog and all the other mucky out door activities we get up to. I am only home half the year and wont do that many miles and to be honest alot of em will be on road but there are plenty of times our A3's taken a beasting going down little dirt tracks. I was thinking about an estate but then a 4x4 seems like it will make more sense. I like the look of the old Range Rovers but they seem to be the same price as Landrovers why is this if they're supposed to be better? I'm looking at 2000/2001 year as I only got 5 grand to spend, 6 at a push. Quite like the idea

Deposit paid, missus will pick him up the day before I get home. Highly active is good for me, when I am off I just rattle round the house for weeks untill I go back. Everyone else is at work. This will be perfect for me and I look forward to many long walks and also us learning to hunt together. Missus will get a fair decently bit of excercise which isn't going to hurt either Only bad thing is that we've already started arguing about names

Ha ha ...isn't that what Europe is? Except they seem to be paid more Who needs Brit MPs when we got foreign euro mps....maybe thats whay they're all scrabbling to pick up the euro jobs.

Hellow Rik sorry to say this but where have you been living for the last 10 years? Did you seriously have no idea this has been going. I noticed your passionate 'anti racist' stance on other discussion where the BNP got mentioned but suddenly you've noticed something many people have seen with their own eyes for years and years. This isn't about skin colour...note the way you have to mention 'race' before you start this type of discusion. Our country, its education system and its jobs are being sold whole sale for the benefit of profiteers. The whole racism thing is a smoke screen to stop peop

Buddy, the public are brainwashed into believing all BNP voters and EDL members (who may i add are nothing to do with one another)are fascists. I am not rascist and i say that from the bottom of my heart. I think the EDL will get atacked by the police again whilst they have a non arrest policy with Choudrys firm. We at the EDL are trying to be heard, we are screaming out to the government to hear us. Buch, i was in my local town yesterday when on indian guy was looking out his shop trying to get my attention, i walked into his shop and asked how his wife was, with his lip quivering he e

It will tell you if the car still has finance on it. When I was young I sold a car that I still owed money on, I was paying it off monthly. The new owner crashed it but then found they couldn't claim on the insurance.

I'm not going to get kennel till the weather gets better and I feel more confident that I know what I am doing.
