It might have been a system of her device but "the man who personally implemented Thatcherite financial market reforms and deregulation during the era of Tony Blair in Britain was Gordon Brown, then Treasury Secretary. " The labour party further deregulated the financial system and have been MORE thatcherite than thatcher ever was. I think she still understood the value of 'Britain'. The Labour party are a bunch of new-socialist/communist cronies with not an ounce of nationalism in their bones.

I actually think those Labour Tw4ts are going to get in again. Labour bought off voters, through benefit system (Cons might cut it) and Immigration (they sure ain't gonna vote con) are two expamples and look at the massive recruiting they encouraged for local councils etc. All the people on this gravey train will vote Labour and alot of other people will be scared of change. Of course MOST people wont actually vote! I think they have a better chance of winning than many people assume. Add the Labour client vote up. Workshy career claimants, public sector wasters, hand wringing

Think I'll take my chances with her looking after him, I rather anything than let him go. She wouldn't be cruel to him but I imagine she would deliberately not follow the training I set down. He's smart fella and I might be able to pick up where I left off when I'm on leave and I would rather him not be a working dog that getting rid of him all together. Its a crap situation but I am starting to think it might be best just putting up with her, at least I would still get a say over important things to do with my daughter. If I did that I could keep an eye on the dog as well. It's not like I

I have to agree she was a true leader. She had her principles and she stuck to them. These days all politicians try to please everyone which is why there is virtually no difference between the parties. Like her or hate her she was the last of a breed and old school to the core.

He's a Black Lab, pics are in the gundog forum.

I guess the lesser of the two evils would that she looked after him when I was away if I gave her some financial incentive and maybe paid for some dog walking or something. It would truely gut me to lose him. I've only had him for a couple of months but we've spent every minute of the day together and bonded really well.

Might have to call it a day with the missus. My daughter is my first concern but she will be looked after by the wife allthough she'll no doubt try to make my life miserable by restricting access or preventing my folks seeing her when they want. One thing I am worried about though is what will happen to my dog. I wouldn't be supprised if she deliberately ruins my dog or doesn't train him when I am away. I work overseas and so when I'm out of the country I rely on her to look after him. I was thinking an option could be to use a kennel on a regular basis, I work 4 weeks away and then g

Yep good point. I was just happy that he brings things back to me when I tell him but I do need to change that. I guess I can use 'Give' instead of 'Drop' command. As I'm doing this on my own I can use any advice I can get cheers!

My Black Labrador has been fantastic, I don't have any previous experience with dogs so I don't really know how well he is doing compared to other dogs destined for gun dog work but I get alot of good comments from normal dog walkers. Rickyspringer asked in one of my threads how life had changed since I had Ollie and I never got round to answering so in short he's changed my life and that is no word of a lie. He's given me a purpose in life when I am on leave, before I used to just sit around the house getting bored or reading the internet. Since I got Ollie we've spent so much time together a

I remember accidentally downloading a video called 'unknown soldier' when I was looking for WW2 videos. It was a video of Taliban cutting off the head of some poor russian conscript. It was one of those situations like a car crash where you want to look away but can't. I can still remember the horrible noise he made as the sick f**k pushed the serated knife into his throat and started sawing away. This was way back before the Ken Bigley type vids of late.

I do agree with as you say a last resort. Out of interest has anyone ever come accross someone using it for basic commands? I wouldn't personally want to use one but if my dog was at risk of being put down for it's behaviour then I can imagine it's the lesser of two evils. Killing a dog has to be the very last resort. Oh as an after thought the RSPCA don't have a problem killing dogs wierd eh?

If your missus is gonna do what mine did and gets loads of sand pit, paddling pool stuff and then forget to take it off the grass save yourself the effort for a while You could treat it with moss killer then bang aload of seed down for a cheap quick fix.

is that like two girls one cup with the obvious difference? If so think I'll give it a miss.

Have you ever looked in to the FULL history of the conservative party? I could reel off more negative things about them. Quick taster Concentration camps in Africa, requesting the use of poison gas and the actual use of aerial bombing to subdue rioters in the middle east....the list goes on and on

I'm with you on that mate. It doesn't matter how much the BNP change or the fact that the old NF croud are probably a minority, alot of people just wont vote for them. Mind you never say never, the Front National have a very large percentage of votes but then france has 6 million muslims so they've got bugger all chance of getting in.

here we go Singular: apostrophe before the s: My brother's wife = one brother has one wife. My brother's wives = still one brother, and he's a bigamist. Plural: apostrophe after the s: My brothers' wives = multiple brothers have multiple wives, the standard arrangement in a busy family. My brothers' wife = multiple brothers have one and the same wife, and they live perhaps in Amazonia.

How true although I'd be quite pleased with 2 or 3 days per month! It seems that modern women these days can't cook, are dirtier than the average batchelor and are lazy as sin! Both my brothers wives are the same. I spend my time off cooking, cleaning and hoovering as I can't stand to live in such a sh*thole. Serves him right for having two. Thought I might have you on gramma there but now I'm not too sure. There are two brothers and two wives... Both of my brother's wives? Both of my brothers wives? I always wanted to join the gramma police but I can't spell.
