Hi mate can you elaborate a bit? Is this just throwing the dummy in the water and telling the dog to fetch it? I took my Lab for a swim in a pond the other day and he loved it. When he got out he was really exited. When he gets used to the water more I'd like to try him retrieving from water. Best of Luck with the dog mate

I actually did think it was real until the levitation bit when the penny dropped

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediocracy http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/mediocracy perfect example of what we have in this country. Even these days Labour have tried to remove competitiveness from schools in case the kids feel bad about not winning a race or doing as well as others. Exams are blatantly dumbed down and children are leaving school with some knowledge but not, it seems, the ability to apply it. Teachers are now recruited with poor skills themselves and schools are filled with 22 year old teachers who have no real knowledge of the world. But one thing is for sure...

I've watched nearly all of it, got the last 20 mins to watch tonight. I think it's like blair witch or that one about the monster in new york (which I did like) etc where they pretend to have real footage. I don't believe any of it and I also think it was just 'ok' as a film but better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick. Have you seen men with goats thats a bloody awsome film. If you like horror films 'Drag me to Hell' was very good. Paranormal was also ok if you liked Forth Kind

If they do have a vote half the mps wont turn up because they don't care, the liberal and labour anti types will of course. I doubt it will get repealed and even if it does it will only be fox hunting. Cameron hasn't the spine to take on any so called minority and all politicians these days are terrified of a handful of crusties with placards. A petition of a few hundred thousand people right now might make them think twice but again loyalties will be divided and I'll bet a million pounds that the huntsmen will distance themselves from the coursers etc.

TRUE TRUE TRUE. So who is going to be then? David Cameron? Gordon Brown? Nick Clegg? or, (and heres the kick in the balls!) Nick Griffen?! Lets be honest here. The only way to sort this out is .............................FIGHT! Cut the population down, abandon ridiculous policy and encourage self sufficiency on a local and national level. Dosser I know your a "revolutionary" but your thinking isn't revolutionary its been around for ever and therefore not new. It does however hold water occasionally.........I also think you and Topper and possibly Donk are one and the sa

Cheers One thing we did from the beginning is to never tell him off for picking things up even shoes. He has a soft mouth and has mostly stopped chewing things like that so we let him bring them to us, tell him good boy and then put them out of reach. I really should take a photo of our dining/front room, you'd all probably laugh. The floors are empty and all of our posetions are on side boards/bookshelves. He's calmed down round the house and I like to let him roam more now where before he was in his crate unless we were playing with him. I'll take on board what you said about the re

Every thing like this that happens at the moment is politically driven. Notice there is a sudden increase in the number of coppers on the beet? Round where I live we got leaflets through the post started to see them every where. Doubt this will carry on after the election.

I think the fact that foxes are quite big preditors and aren't seen so often makes people protective over them the way they do over lions and tigers. People don't feel the same way about rats and only the wierdest person would concider raising a rat and then releasing it in to the wild.

Good quote, people fail to note that goverments have the legacy of the previous goverment to contend with. More often than not the conservatives have been handed a financial mess to fix as Thatchers government. The reverse is also true Major had the ecconomy set up and Labour were handed a country with a possitive ballence and then proceeded to spend spend spend and they still haven't stoped. As Thatcher once said the trouble with socialism is that eventually you run out of the other persons money.

Thanks I am going to have to change some of the hand signals I use as they are obviously wrong. Hopefully he'll adapt. I try to give him directions as much as possible so he gets used to them for example when he fetches i will point my arm out in the direction where the retrieve is, if I tell him "Out" to go out of the house (in to the garden) I also do that and when he's sat in front of his food and waited I also do the same to let him know he can go and get his food. Is this ok? I need to refine and correct my signals and commands. I'm learning as much as he is and lucky for me

There was some stuff on the telly where the rspca (i think) or some other organisation were releasing foxes that they had raised to full grown adults in to the wild. Are you sure that is illegal? I thought it only applied to non-natives.

Condolences to you and both of your families. May she R.I.P

Here's a summary of the commands I am teaching him. Please let me know what else I should be doing. Sit - Will also do this when I put my finger up (i do this to make him sit at my side otherwise he had tendency to try and sit in front of me) Up - Stand up after he has been sat, use this when I want to cross road for example and I have told him to sit Stay - Will do it when I hold my hand up Down - Lie down - will sometimes do it by hand signal Look - Looks at me when he is walking to heel so I can give him commands by hand I use a hand signal also, to teach him this i have a treat in

he he this could be a good laugh actually as it's illegal to release a gray squirel and other non-indigenous species once they've been caught. We could have a week where everyone delivers as many captured grays to the rspca so it is them that have to dispose of thousands of perfectly healthy animals.

It'd end up looking like a bloody stump after 4 hours though

I have two nights a week shooting which I look forward to like mad, unfortunately they are monday and tuesday so I have 5 days of pure boredom before I can go again. I've usually walked the legs of my dog during the day. I used to love getting pissed but gave up the booze. I will watch the occasional film but other than that I tend to sit on the internet reading stuff. Most of my mates from uni etc live miles away so my evenings are boring as sin! What do you do to keep yourself occupied in the evening?

Send him a mail saying you will be in Malaga on holiday next week and ask to view it. See what he says.

I am a member of a range rover forum and there have been several ads like this put on autotrader and the like. All the members warned that these were scams. As it has been said, if it looks to good to be true......

You've got a point, but lets not think that everyone on benefits actually want to be on them! There's people with skills that were earning a good living a few years back but have been forced into to dole queue because the work isn't there for them any more. I know there's people that love to sit back and claim, and I spoke to a bloke in his 50's just last week who said he's gonna vote labour because of the benefits he gets lol, but that isn't the case with everyone who's having to scratch every two weeks. Besides that I think a lot is made of people defrauding the benefit system and spongi

She's 4 but we have a 17 year old which isn't really mine but I raised her as my own for 13 years so I treat her as my own daughter. She's a bit lazy but with enough encouragement she might pick up the gauntlet when I go to work.
