  1. Oil industry is on the up if you've been working in the army it wouldn't be much different
  2. The blood isn't from her though, I paused it just as he was shot he was simulating stabing her in the eye and they just blew a hole in his chest by the looks of it. He bled all over her.
  3. Also Longest Day, Bridge Too far and Battle of Britain are obviously classics
  4. Yeh thats pretty good if I remember correctly
  5. hahaa I'm working from home and I've pretty much watched every TV series I can think of...so decided to watch this yes I have a demanding job
  6. Anyone else watching this? Personally I think it's better or at least more fun to watch. I've seen the British one and did enjoy it but it's a bit too real and gritty and the characters and are a bit too believable. I think the yanks did a good job on Shameless
  7. Das Boot is one of my favorites and also Downfall
  8. The guy he was supposed to have killed was called Thorvald or Konig (both names exist in the Russian records) but from what I've read there's no evidence in German records of this person. That isn't to say Zaysev didn't have a 3 day battle with a top sniper but there is no evidence to say this person existed either, if they had the dog tags then surely they would be able to confirm this. German military records were generally very thorough. I find the story hard to believe because of the Russians propoganda, they are masters of fiction when it comes down to stories of the war. http://www.s
  9. Vasily Grigoryevich Zaytsev was a sniper and killed around 225 germans. Appart from that the rest is fiction. There's no evidence to suport the thing with the German Major. I also believe Vasilies Girlfreind died during the war and Zaytsev lost partial sight due to a mortar attack.
  10. The only way it will work is if they bundle it in with a load of other 'bad' labour laws that were introduced by Blair and his cronies. There is a chance this will happen as they did talk of a 'Great Repeal Bill' http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/news/philipjohnston/100039561/new-governments-great-repeal-bill-can-help-repair-labours-damage-to-our-liberties/
  11. unfortunately Enemy at the Gates is a work of pure fiction
  12. Couldn't agree more. I'm much more careful how I live my life now. I wouldn't even risk driving home after a pint and would think twice before getting in to any kind of altercation with anyone. Just isn't work the risk of losing my licence. Funny how I always think about my licence (not my guns) in the strangest of situations....yesterday I was doing some training with the dog off lead in a tennis court. This guy just walked straight in with his wife, dog and kid so they could play. I was a bit cheesed off as I am working on his heal work and he's not 100% steady when there are other dogs
  13. In the last year there have been a shocking number of family killings but only one with guns. In fact just the day before yesterday there was another instance of a guy killing his wife and child, another child survived. Once again the neighbours told the news people that he was a lovely guy etc etc. Why can't the media focus on the reasons why rather than the tools used?
  14. and Cameron will be able to say that he kept his word without having to upset the wierdos
  15. They aren't going to do it. Spending money on the celebration is fair enough, it will draw a lot of tourism to the UK.
  16. I can't believe anyone can say "both sides are as bad and each other". The western military make painstaking to get it right even if the outcome isn't perfect. Again I've never been there and I'm glad as well but having read countless books on the subject it amazes me how restrained our military are. We're talking young lads half my age showing retraint that would be admerable from a 50 year old. Oh and they're put in danger's way when a more indestriminant bombing or drone attack would do the job because our military want to draw out the fighters in order to take out only the guilty.
  17. I am sure you don't need to use Jailbreak to use wifi. You just need to set your phone up to connect to it. Got to settings then WIFI and you should see your network. You will need to put your password in probably.
  18. I thought the parliments act just meant they could block a House of Lords veto? It still got voted by parliment though didn't it? Cameron was right but I'll be amazed if they overturn this, there are even some conservative MPs that aren't in favour....no doubt too scared of the crusty minority
  19. I was just reading about it From WIKI "The Parliament Acts are rarely invoked, the Hunting Act was only the seventh statute since 1911 enacted under their provisions" because they couldn't get consent from the house of Lords. Quite amazing that they would invoke the Parliment acts for something like Hunting.
