  1. Hi Blackfox, I'm just having a think about getting a lighter CF caliber somewhere in between my rim fires IE .17HMR, .22LR, and my .22-250, for foxes, I want it because from time to time I shoot close to residential houses at night (some have tree huggers within thier walls) on the edge of some my permissions, and I find the crack from my .22-250 even with the t8 moderator is quite loud. So I was thinking of a .204, .22Hornet, or .222, as an addition to my Cert. if my FAO agrees, I use my .22-250 also for roe, so I would not be giving this one up. Bob. Reading the above, the Horne

  3. Logic, a very good reply, i agree with the the of the heavy/varmint barrel. Its also cost wise as factory ammo is cheap compared to .22-250. Also there is noise - my .204 with a pes t12 is sooooo much quieter than my mates .223 with a T4 and a .22-250 with a t8. Reloading uses less powder, i was also told by firearms if i wanted a .22 CF i would have to do a DSC-1 even tho at the moment im not intrested in deer. Its very desctuctive on foxes! get the [bANNED TEXT] bullet sorted for your rilfe and its flatter than a .22-250 Hi Blackfox, It is not a requirement in law that

  5. A few years back I had a wall knocked down by a car,and the car cleared off, I called the police, when they arrived they said to me, "when you find out who it was, let us know". I believe they are 10 times worse now!!!

  8. Not a clue, never heard of them, but found this>>>> The Essex is a trade name for shotguns made by the Crescent-Davis Firearms Co. on shotguns made for the Belknap Hardware Co of Louisville, Kentucky. There were a couple of dozen various models made and without knowledge of exactly which model that you have I can only advise that the average retail value of one in "good" condition varies from about $350 to $600. As for parts, contact the Numrich Gun Parts Co. at www.e-gunparts.com Cheers Deker.

  10. Nor will it. dsc started of as a volunteer thing and now looks like some want it compulsory. where will it stop, fox shooting course, rabbit shooting cert.lamping classes etc. its a rip of price wise and is just money for the boys. stalkers managed for years without it with no large amounts of accidents that we have seen. seen some deer stalkers who would struggle to hit a cow on the arse with a shovel, so it dont make you shoot better. does driving lessons and a license stop all accidents.??????????????. Mostly agree.
  11. Have DSC1 and glad I did it, found it very interesting, learned an awful lot, but can't see DCS 2 making me a better stalker.
