    Shooters drowned in lake BASC is saddened to learn of the tragic deaths of two members during a shooting expedition in adverse weather conditions. Police have recovered the body of 42-year-old Philip Surridge from Brightwell Lake near Ringstead in Northamptonshire and are continuing to search for that of 30-year-old Paul Litchfield. It is thought the two men fell into the frozen lake while trying to rescue the gundog which was with them. The dog and equipment belonging to the two men have been recovered at the scene.     Hi luke, Seen a few black ones up my way over the years and are always smaller, even though they live amongst and I would assume breed with the natural brown ones, just must be the strain of them, probably escaped or let off pets at one time?
