    Well I went for it, picked it up today and decided to splash out on a new Schmidt Bender 8x56 to go on top of it too!! Really pleased with it so far, although still need to get it set up properly. On nights this week so it'll be the weekend before I get it under the lamp. Just need to save some pennies for a mod. Any recommendations on which mod to go for? Good luck, lets us know how you get on. Best get a mod that you can strip to clean, I have a T8 which is good, but it can't be stripped so I soak it internally with WD and then blow it through to stop it rusting. ATB Bob.

    Grab it, far better build quality than the T3, I have one in .22-250, and it's brilliant, what I would call smiddy build.

    Get yourself a pre Tikka T3, such as a M590 & M595, these have real build quality, the T3 is a budget rifle and do not have the build quality, of the 590s & 595s, you can pick them up at a reasonable price, have a look in Guntrader for an idea, and with the extra money left over you can buy yourself better glass, I have a 590 in .22-250, and it's what I would call smiddy build, it has a Zeiss Conquest scope on top, and it is deadly accurate.
