Hi, all. My father and I got into the shooting sports last fall, taking our hunter safety class too late to catch the 2008/09 season. We've been going to the range biweekly since then - he with his 30/30 Marlin Lever action and me with my sporterized 6.5x55 Swedish Mauser - and we are gearing up for the NY/NJ hunting seasons in a few weeks. Stumbled across this site looking for advice on a good hunting load in 6.5x55, and figured I'd stick around. Good to meet y'all. Schuyler
