  1. Just going off personal experience ( and this is not all hobs ) most need seperating when they come into season, they can and do fight ( i know people who have lost hobs ) especially if they smell your jills in season. the jills should be fine together, so three cages needed. Cheapest method if you are not wanting kits get one of your hob vasetomised, he will bring the girls out of season. He will still have to be kept seperate through the breeding season though as even though he fires blanks he still has all his hormones. Do you need two hobs ?

  6. Try putting a heavy food bowl or a fleece blanket in the place it is pooping, also put its crap in the tray until it gets the message
  7. I dont think you can spoil a working dogs ability by keeping it in the house.. once its in the field that switch flicks on.. bam ! might make them a bit soft to the cold though
  8. Mine have had whole gutted trout and love them.. especially the heads
  9. She sounds and looks like a canny little marker is the other dog a rottie x ? and just a buddy or worker ?
  10. frontline will do pal, i've even had them stuck in my back we used to use all different ways to remove them the most important thing is not to pull them out as you leave the head and it re grows What a load of crap.. ticks dont re grow if you leave the head or mouthparts in.. but they can cause infection.
  11. If you have used frontline spray rubbed all over the body then you dont need anything else, it stays on the skin/ fur and will kill any other ticks for up to 2 months. As also mentioned remove all bedding and treat the hutch, tick pickers are great for larger ticks, but a dose of frontline eradicates any you cant see

  17. Its an oil based vitamin supplement ( ferret crack ) cos they go nuts for it. It can be used to encourage a poorly ferret to eat if mixed with food, or just as an occassional treat, i use it for nail clipping.. turn them over, two drops on their belly and you can clip away.. they dont even notice
