  8. No disrespect fella but if you are asking these questions you should not be breeding. you should have a good few years of ferret keeping under your belt before youeven consider it, but in answer to your questions about 42 days, NO SLOP, raw meat from about 3 weeks.

Good luck on your move.. and Great ferret PR.. its amazing how many people have never seen a ferret, it can only be a good thing showing them to kids as they wont forget.. can just imagine little Tommy in the next couple of years replying to his dad asking " what you want for christmas son ". Tommy replies " 50 hemp nets, a mk3 locator, good spade & a carring box, Oh and one or two of them little furry things i saw at school when i was five Dad........

  16. As i said, I've had, and have, dogs that have them, and dogs that haven't ! But if it was my choice, I'd rather they didn't have dew claws. BUT ... a man who I know for a fact has been involved in Greyhound and Saluki Coursing for many years firmly believes that dew claws should be left on ! It's a choice we make or don't ! Cheers. Only time a dewclaw can be used for its purpose ( apart from holding bones ) is for a running dog to grip the ground when turning.. I don't believe that, and neither doe's any one who knows dogs ! There is NO purpose for a dew claw in the vast maj
