Naaaaaw mate, trophy hunting is a bit souless - its like the folk going out to try and shoot the one white stag just to say they shot it. I fully agree with you mate, i myself wouldn't see a benefit of shooting a beast like that but there are alot of others that do and if thats there sport then who are we to rubbish it? Yeah, but the great thing about shooting a beast like that is he is quite an accomplishment ......and tastes great,too.

    Part of the problem , though, is it usually isn't the guy needing to feed his family out poaching . It's usually just a guy out and about who sees a "wall hanger" and decides he is going to take it right then and there, laws be damned. Like someone else said, simple greed. Very rarely is it subsistence hunting.

    Probably not in the sense you guys see it at as....we have jagds & patts on back up for that. But for everything else . get them on the wolverines mate. Not wolverines , mate...but they did stumble into a badger den last weekend. They aren't quite up for that.

    Been working them along side my Springers so they at leats get the gist of the commands down.....seems to be working. Think'll be good as gold come fur season.

    At a work function....pissed as hell. Dropped trousers and relied on long shirt tails to cover my gear up. A guy I work with had about enough of my antics and tried to forcefully make me behave. And I beat the dog shit out of him....I mean bad. Most humbling experience of my life was having to go up to Ed on Monday morning (he's wearing sunglasses as he looks like he's wearing purple eye patches) and apologize. Very humbling....
