    Sure is a good days out for any would be deer stalker, the ground is good , not too many mountains & big hills (deoending on area) I had a trip by Insch , for a cull. Superb in every way. Well done lads

    Your dog should make good, We used bulldog x mastiff x pits for some time in NZ a few year back..superb let them into it slowly, you know when they are ready.Just let em follow. I miss it, now in UK.

    Give them a good looking over, as most semi's are easily strippable, with plenty of accessable spares....remmington however are in short supply, as getting things from the USA is harder & harder..so dont pay too much for one unless its mint.(£200 tops) NOTE- check where the cart tube fits the reciever,(under the wood) if it cracks (& they do ,if used heavily) its a scrapper, as its silver soldered in..unlike most are screwed into place..& will cost an arm /leg to fix !! IMO avoid them, get a Franchi/ or modern Beretta

    For distance a 'Roo'lamp kit or the unreliable L/Force kit(dogs etc) for rifles etc 'cluson SL' kit. As the larger L/F & Roo lamps spook your targets for miles !!

    I always look after my friendly farmer with a chrimbo treat, wether a bottle , a case or a tin of chocolates... What the flavor of the day to you farmers , that are kind enough to trust us with our rifles ,dogs etc on your land ?? Just trying to get an alternative to the bottle of whisky, tin of quality street or couple of bottles of wine or case of beer. come on guys, there nust be an alternative..keep it with in a tenner..remeber we have a dozen farms or more !!

    I used to have all the cz range from 452/527 to 6.5 & 308 in cz550, i loved them all, accuracy once tweeked they out shone most at double the price, the wood takes a good bit of work, & seems to sweat bruising out a lot better, than most. As for the 243 , miss it & go 6.5 .

    When putting for you fac, get as many cals down as you wish. you can have if you can prove a use. so, 22 rimmy general pest & cheep to run -50-80yds 17 for general bunny 100-150yds 22H centre fire good alround pest/vermin -150yds 223 fox 150yds+ & if a member of a club... 44 mag pistol 357 underlever military 303/8mm mauser & cannon for the door !! get them in, it will save on variations later @ £25 a time. Also if they say NO, it makes the FLO feel better, so 4 outa 5 aint bad

    Sell the old heavy weight 303 -12g, the exteema is far superior, & keep the u/o for other days. On the forums the newer or novice shooter love the 303, as it solid & forgiving, just a bit of a dinosaur though! later buy a tube extension of you fall in love with the newer beretta & upgrade to FAC with 10/12 shots..now theres fun, in summer over the fields on pigeon !! Just my 50p worth.

    a good reliable 12g u/o with 1/2 & 1/4 choke will do the job 28" barrels..the quality & cost is upto you..get the feel of dozens before you choose.

    IMO out of the box 10/22 's are garbage..unreliable & a pain, crude..after a few 100 quid & some nice extras , they can be good at a price. All parts are avilable state side, for any barrel, trigger, claw, stock you wish, thats the beauty..other wise get a CZ, if you want accurate reliable shots.
