  1. I got some plastic ones off ebay, really thin they are but strong as f**k. £4 for twenty. They look really flimsy but now I use them on all my nets. They go in any ground fairly easy because of how thin they are.
  2. well done mate, the mk3's are a good bit of kit
  3. and how long before you start locating her? my ferrets sit with rabbits for ages just scratching away at the arse end but they do bolt given time. Try giving her a little longer.
  4. were the rabbits dead when you dug them out? do you feed them the morning you go out?
  5. yes mate, the time we caught 7 and 10 was with one dog. It was mostly small fields, just walk them right up to the squatters like you would if u was entering a lurcher. They miss more than they catch but they love it.
  6. It started off as lamping with the air rifle but thought we'd slip to terrier just for a laugh and it caught! We took 2 dogs a couple of times (both terriers). We had one dog stood near cover where we thought the rabbit would run to and walked the other dog up to squatters, it would chase it to the dog by cover and it would cut it off. Its a right giggle and the dogs love it. The 7 and the 10 bag was with one dog though. I'll try and get some photos.
  7. IMO the home made ones are the best. You can build it to suit your needs, you know its escape proof and its a fraction of the price. I bought a big hutch from pets at home for a oner and its shit! so i built my own
  8. We used to take my mates JRT lamping, we got 7 one night and ten another night, which is more than my bloody lurcher gets! Well done mate
  9. To sling it do you cut it open first? Yer, just open it up down the belly, head and front legs in right hand, arse in the other hand and let em fly
  10. I prefer slinging them, dont get your hands dirty then and i like seeing how far they fly
  11. Yer i suppose. any dog would be a no-no if you dont want to get caught
  12. Don't know about you mate but if i was looking to rob someones house and see two alsations wandering about in the garden, id go next door.
  13. Hope you dragged it off and necked the f****r
  14. He looks soft but if he dont like you, you'll no about it
  15. Got to do your CBT (compulsary basic training) Book it now mate cus theres normally a huge waiting list. you just drive a ped round some cones and thats it. about 100 quid. other than tax insurance etc Aaron
  16. We've got two GSDs guarding our yard. Not very socialised, just roam around our land. Nobody gets passed them. My sisters boyfriend decided to let himself round one day and the pair of them turned him over. Not even the jahovahs come down our drive anymore. Lovely pair of dogs if you know them though.
  17. I agree that bull crosses are good dogs, But for some people its just a cock extension. Like when everyone suddenly bought staffies and pitbulls as a status symbol (not saying everyone that owns a staff is a c**t). Some people that know nothing about dogs see a hard looking bull cross go and buy a pup, show it a fox at 9 months old with no training and expect it to do the business. If everyone knew what they were doing this wouldnt be such a big problems. Happy hunting.
  18. No mate, if you get a jill they will be fine together all year round but if you get a hob they will need seperating in breeding season (spring/summer) to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
  19. Might be worth looking up the jill jab or getting her spayed aswell to avoid other health problems in the future. If possible feed raw meat. If you can't get rabbits then get chicken wings from tescos and deffinately get a friend for her. Good luck.
  20. not brilliant mate, bolted 7 and netted 4. Was struggling with the hedgerows so I went home. Plenty about though mate. saw loads the ther night lamping. Give me a shout if you want a day out pal. Few up going on my own lol. BTW, have you got any starts for a brickie?
