Hi sorry for the delayed response it seems i got hold of the wrong end of the stick when my mate called! it was an experienced handler just a new bird that had tangled its self in a tree and just wanted me to climb it to cut it out!!! thanks to all those who contacted me!!

Hi not a clue about falconry etc more of a shooting man but my friend has just called me and has a harris hawk in a tree it is a pet from a unexperienced handler any ideas how to get it out tonight, the bird sanctuary wont come out tomorrow or am i just better off waiting for them? they do have handling gloves etc!

Ill do any hunting I went to the cheshire country fair last weekend and it sort of got me wanting to get out there!!, ive got an air rifle but never been out with it so wouldnt mind getting into that, I'm from connahs quay in flintshire, and thank you all for the warm welcome!!!

Hey everyone! Im Jamie 24 from north wales andim a climber, hiker, mountain biker, avid "bushcrat" enthusiast small time sea fisher. I havejust bitten the bullet and bought my first house with the missus and am slowly getting the urge to grow/ gather/ foraga/ hunt my own food and looking to get into any form of hunting that i can but ideally looking to go out and learn with people rather than running round a field looking like a fool! so if any one is patient enough to take someone out in the north wales out please please contact me!!!
