one example gary middleton dogs saw them 20 years ago fine big northern terrier built big and hard and could do any days digging any qurry now they wouldnt stand a day out in the cold this is my opinion if gary kept what he had he still win every show in england because they were true workers but not anymore plus they were free to test there dog then

scent mate all been there u need to start digging with genuine digging men you have to learn off them remenber the man on top of ground has to be as good as the dog undergroundwhen u get a good dog uknow then iv paid thousands for so called digging dogs and well bred terriers theres a few good terriermen in waterford go to them for ur pups and asks to go along for dig too see parent working they say everyman will get one great dog keep trying my opinion keep the faith

u cant make a dog stay aground if he or she wanted to stay it would give it to someone thats looking for bushen or a pet thats life at least ur honest how many show dogs have walk out

ye all can laugh at this but we bring package of baby wipes wouldnt go without them clean dogs eyes wounds ears etc handy if you get to have a shit cleans bellman and flint plus cleans hands after handling game how many times after hard dig eating grub and smell of ur hands everyone to there own way lads

i disagree fionn no ones being disrespected,the thread makes a nice change on this section fair play to them lads with there imput. its just my opinion as i said in my reply i didnt mean to suggest that anyone was been disrepectfull and i dont care what was on my peds the dogs i got from winjim were out and out workers

have been keeping a eye on this tread this is my twopence worth i phone levi oaks about 10 years ago looking for pup from working borders as hes came recomended he gave me winjim no and rw and he told me they were the only two that had what i was looking for after couple of phone calls came freindly with winjim he gave me pups and i worked them hard maybe too hard as i lost 3 to ground through there gamness and lack of size little dogs with big hearts iv bred my paterdales to them with great sucsess i have no pure borders now but nearly all my blackdog have all the real blood running through
