    just getting my 6 month old bitch whippet into racing and had 1st meeting last week at bluewater< there is a lot of noise from the dogs and was just wondering if i get my whippet into the racing scene will it affect her lamping though singing like a canary before i slip her on sumthing???? any 1 had problems like this ? thanks

    own a livery yard along with 4jacks 2 patterdales 2 plummers 1 springer 1 g.w.p 4 saluki x greyhound and 1 whippet pup and one lazy bull mastiff x irish wolf hound meant to guard dog she the size of a small dinosaur but cudnt harm a poxy fly.all work between me and my father inlaw

    the modern 21st century thing to do with a suluki is to cross it i know this because i have rescued two myself which aint pure blood maybe whippet/ and the oldest greyhound x. but are pure bred salukis good dogs? what is there best game? are they any good on rabbits? and what is a fair price of a saluki out of working backgrounds? thanks any help

    There ok on hare mate but there never going to be 3 out of 3 dogs. They will give a good show on hare and give 100%. As for the slip i used to give the hare fair law over 70yds, as like most whippet owners it's not the catching it's seeing the dog run that we get enjoyment in. That said in the smaller fields they will have a good catch rate on short slips. Unfortunately duw to the ban i have to use my whippet to flush them to the gun she does this very well indeed but i must get to the clay ground and brush up on my shooting as she tend to catch more than i hit A few of my bitch(Vix

    its a bloody pain in the arse mate u have to zoom in so much all u can see is the face i find it better that if u take the picture with your phone then email or bluetooth it arcoss to pc the size is smaller but i have same prob dont no how to do it otherwise caz my cam pics are like 2meg and over

    pmsl not evryones can take pics of there whippets in full flight on a rabbits arse, so it would be abit hard to judge on the net. well done for realising that but nowadays people take alot of pride in there dogs show or working and do take pictures of there whippets running freely which can look just as good,because when these dogs open up there are great to watch thats all i was trying to see if any good pictures out there of whippets at work running or posing.u plank
