    Had the same problem yesterday, 13 fish, 9 bows 4 Browns and lost double that. Made up with my line though it's excellent

    Fishing my pp line as we speak (just having breakfast in lodge after torrential waterfalls) very happy with it probably gunna order a intermediate too. Had one rainbow and one brown so far...

    Got the 444 classic not the sylk, see how they do on Wednesday but my pitsford pirate lines have came anyway and they seem excellent

    I listened to him last night on talk sport for an hour and apart from saying lets go champ at the end of every sentence he seemed a decent fella, been through a lot. Dad wasn't around, mum died of a drug overdose on his birthday, went through depression and went to 400lb as a result and has/is coming back for his daughter. If you can find the talk sport podcast with Andy Goldstein and Jason cundy it would be worth a listen ??

    Bought a new reel today and was gunna buy a barrio gt125 after hearing excellent reviews but he's sold out of wf6 and wf7. I was hoping to use my new reel and line by next Wednesday so in need of suggestions so I can get one ordered asap. Must be memory free, like the look of cortland 444 but heard of problems when roll casting

    I was browsing the fly forum and it seems quite a few people have the exact same problem at the fishery. The day after a double figure brown came out to an egg under a bung how many lashes does that person get lol

    Tried a new fishery yesterday as I've decided to not go to my regular anymore as after going there for 6 years the same fella who's serves me every time, spoke to me like I'd never caught a fish in my life telling me how to handle them, not to steal any more than my limit aswell as a load of other stuff. Done my head in. Found a nice fishery with a very good head of large Browns so headed there in hope of one. Not much cover around the lakes and they where situated in middle of arable fields so it was VERY windy, the first few hours where slow. Moved to a different lake and started getting bit

    Me and a mate where fishing a trout fishery that was bait fishing only, this day there was no one else fishing so we asked if we could fly fish it instead to which the owner agreed as long as we used barbless hooks. Mate hooked himself in the head about an hour in to the session with a barbed fly and spent the day hiding from the owner. Made him fish on until end of session before going to a&e. His photo is on the wall in the fishery to the day with a brace of trout and a black fly stuck in his head

    Boil it up then jet wash off most of the meat. Once meats gone search on here for advice using peroxide to whiten it, don't get it on antlers if it's deer ??

    I can take continuous shots on jpeg just one after the other for quite a while but I only get about 8 on raw and then it slows down the burst rate to about 1ps and did my head in as I'm only really after action shots. Tried changing to a 80mbs Sd card but nothing changed ?

    Loved this thread since it started, be good if we could keep up a similar thread in the way this has been for say fox or individual deer species etc.

    5 years it just an agreement if I was to buy it id have right of way on the lane to the land lanes about a mile long so its a good bit out of the way witch is ideal I was think log cabin it a little over 9 acres there's only one part that would probably be ok to build on and drain the rest it's all if at the minute try see what the wife thinks. If you don't end up going ahead I'd be interested in the details mate ??

    If you end up anywhere near Agia Napa part of the island get yourself to dhekalia (spelling?) English army base you can drive on no problem they got a few shops and a market but the fish and chips there are better than anywhere I've ever had

    What was the sires name if you don't mind me asking? Mates just bought a coursing grey off a woman and I'm pretty sure it's the same area. His is sired by Thomas the tank who won clonmel in 08? I think it was 08 anyway

    I don't think that door would have moved enough to activate an alarm just from unscrewing a screw. Check your sensors for cobwebs, make sure there's nothing above a radiator moving from the heat etc.

    yeah maybe flacko, i see what your saying, i see the yanks doing it all the time they actually hold it horizontal by the jaw for the camera, it winds me up, i just saw that perch being held out by its jaw and it set me off, i apologies if it was a bit deep.
