[ harris's are undoubtedly the best begginers bird, you need time for them every day chicks are not that dear with 500 setting you back about £12.50 they are not that hard to look after but you need to look after them well. males are cheaper than females and a male costs around £250 and a female about £300

What the hell is avairy abandoment? Fair play to the gent with the hawk i dont know i was just told this by my mentor Could you ask your mentor to explain in layman terms what avairy abandonment is. It sounds like the birds been kept in an avairy for 2 years but I cant be sure and if that is the case I am astounded that your mentor feels it would be unable to cope with chasing rabbits it would require manning and fittness training but then it should be as good as any other hawk. he said its lungs and organs would not be able to cope or adapt after 2 years of nothi
